I bought a house from Hill in a lovely new development. The initial sales and customer service experience was excellent! There have, however, been a few issues since moving in (probably more than I expected) but Kish (site manager) in particular has been great in helping to resolve issues. No problem has been too big or small and they have been quite responsive. The service from some of the subcontractors has varied. The follow-up customer service visits were useful. It would be good to have another one after a year or so when we’ve properly settled. Overall, I’ve been very pleased with this developer.

Peter Miller was great and very professional. I’ve had a few snags in our new build house and they were all fixed very efficiently. In our case, Peter went above and beyond and made sure that our house was perfect. Very happy with the process!

One of the big ticket items was to paint the entire living room ceiling after some high quality repair work by done by Peter. Both gents were highly professional and handled our furniture and living room goods with care. Thank you both for your professional attitudes and determination to get the snags resolved to the highest possible quality and standard. This is not a review of the people working for Hill. All contractors working for Hill were excellent. This is a review on the company. We experienced a wet wall that then developed black mold less then an year after the build was finished. Hill dragged their feet and then eventually settled to paint over the wet wall. This is just an example of my interactions with Hill which always let me feeling their business model doesn't give a crap about the people who bought property and their health, safety and comfort.

Peter miller came to carry out our end of defects works. I was working from home. He was so quiet and respectful it was as though he wasn’t there, so it didn’t feel intrusive. He tidied up as he went which made a big difference as it again didn’t feel intrusive to our hope. He was also super friendly and did a great job.

Simon Cowdrey arrived on site at The Meadows Community Centre with a long list of repair works which he had to follow up, he managed to complete them all apart from a couple which turned out to be a two man job and was going o report back to the office and arrange another visit, in all the areas he was working in he always cleaned afterward and never left a mess, a good job done all around the site.

TrustpilotPoor warranty CS / operator / contractor follow-up service
Many parts and appliances start to have problem under warranty but it's very hard to have appointment or arrangement to sort out the source of problem, not to mention the solution or need other rounds to wait for the CS or personnel to contact the corresponding contractor for a visit to start investigate the source of problem. Repeated waiting again and again for delay of arrangement / visit investigation / then fix, not to mention missing to acknowledgement, reply or confirmation via email. Many times different operator just come and inspect for few minutes, not sure of back office communication and a problem and last for two months without a step forward to resolution very often. Plastering need to redo and redo again for half year just because they ignore the problem of vent fan and delay to change one first. Problem prolong since last winter to this summer!

Reported to the Hill about the frequent issue of the toilet seat becoming loose and unstable. A repair appointment was scheduled, and on the agreed date, The technician, Ben Aken arrived on time and successfully fixed the problem. Ben Aken Was great, , Friendly, polite, and gave me confidence in his work. He patiently explained the issue to me and provided guidance on how to handle it if it happens again in the future. The do not care for the residents of the meadows estate in Cambridge The work man park all over the roads making it impossible for residents to go about their business with no problem ,this week they’ve put cones out to alleviate the issues but the work man have started parking on the opposite side .. we have had enough maybe if they go in meadows resident Facebook page they will see how unhappy we all are They aren’t responsible considerate builders at all - they gave out cones out and now the work man are parking further down into the estate , this morning at 7.45 a resident saw them leave a big van and trailer parked up on the path so now no one can use it near a corner and go to the site to work . Its not on

Mike, Michael, and Simon came to fix a myriad of issues we'd had; all relatively minor, but all needed doing. We had other contractors on site who weren't being considerate of our furniture. The team from Hill stepped in to make sure our possessions were protected from the works of the contractors. A wonderful team who we're confident will help us again in the future.

Not much of a fan of hill personally, we haven’t had the best experience but Raalf Fallaha on the other hand, what a legend He popped round, smashed out the jobs professionally and swiftly without cutting corners.
