GoogleI enquired about a property that I saw for rent on Zoopla, there was no mention of pets not being permitted so on that basis I enquired. No mention means its not a problem, one would reasonably assume? I received a response to my initial enquiry in a timely manner, I was asked to provide answers to a number of personal questions which takes some time to compile. Instantly I received a response stating that this property doesn't accept pets..... I was absolutely fuming, not with regards to the criteria but the fact I had wasted time enquiring and answering their questions only to be told afterwards. I sent them a polite email pointing out my displeasure with the situation, 2 weekdays later have I received a response? Of course not! If these cretins aren't making any money out of you they aren't interested in even gracing you with a response. Its no wonder they have so many poor reviews on here, I'm going to repeat this review elsewhere in the hope they learn their lesson and respond to reasonable correspondence in future.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleWe had such a lovely experience buying our dream home with Crook and Blight. From the first viewing, to making and changing our offers, a pre-completion viewing and eventually completion day, the team were always available and happy to help. Such a smooth process!

GoogleIf I could I would offer this estate agency 0 stars ⭐️! I don’t even know how to begin the awful experience that me and my partner had with them.We booked a view and after when we wanted to go to the office and proceed with the paperwork of the rental guess what? Delays because the landlord does not answer t give his approval,delays because the person in charge of the rentals is in holiday.Delays because the person that answers the phone has no idea what customer communication means! Just one random phone call from them sounded like this: Hi are you interested in one of our properties to rent? Yes! Would you like to book a viewing? We already viewed the property and we are waiting from 2 weeks ago for an answer from the landlord! Just a minute please.And she’s putting us on hold.After a few minutes someone else takes the line and she doesn’t even know why we we’re on hold! Seriously???? What is wrong with you people that work in that agency??? Just making people wait for you put them on hold on the phone delay them and stress them out to the maximum??? Do not! Like for nothing in the wold rent or buy a property that is managed by this agency !!! 0⭐️

GoogleCrook and Blight most definitely live up to their name! Avoid whether you are buying or selling! If I could give this agency no stars I would do. Buying a property through them was the worst experience ever. The member of staff showing us around on the first viewing, whilst polite, clearly knew nothing about the property or the area. But once we’d made an offer it was the elusive ‘George ‘ whom it quickly became apparent had no idea how to manage the sales process springing on us as we were about to exchange that the owner of the property at the top of the chain were only just making an offer on another home. We ended up having to move into temporary accommodation in order not to lose our buyer and being there two months before being able to move into our new home! The cheek of it came with ‘George’ calling one afternoon saying that he couldn’t get hold of our solicitor and why are we delaying completion?! Even once we’d exchanged their customer service was shocking and I ended up getting more assistance from the onward agent through whom I arranged key collection.

GoogleI am extremely disappointed and fairly angry with this company. I called up and enquired about a rental property within a few hours of the property being put up for rent. I was greeted with an extremely underwhelming and non responsive person named holly who quite bluntly told me they are holding no viewings at the moment until next week where she will call me and book in a block viewing. Just checked the property again this evening and it has already gone, not even a phone call to explain the property was no longer available. I hope nobody else has this unfortunate experience with holly

GoogleFollowing the recent sale of my property, I'm really pleased to be able to make this five star rating. The whole process with C&B was very poliet and professional. We found great transparency with a feeling of trust. Appointment booking was initially by phone then email confirmation. Email only communication from me was always answered promptly and concise. The chap that did the pictures was a nice guy you didn't mind showing about your house. Made recommendations and did the job right first time. Five star service from all the team. Thanks guys.
