GoogleStuart and Gary were both exceptionally helpful and professional during the process of selling our house. Our chain broke down (through no fault of Astons) but they quickly remarketed and found us another buyer and the process completed smoothly largely thanks to their commitment and hard work

GoogleFantastic service, booked a viewing for the next day. Gave information about the property, had answers to all my questions relating to the property and also relating to other properties they had for sale in the area, Any un-answered questions where resolved promptly post the viewing. Booked in a 2nd viewing the next day post placing an offer, flexibility was amazing. Whole process has currently been flawless. No pressure when viewing, which is a refreshing pace compared to other estate agents.

GoogleWanted to view a property. They denies us viewing the property because we didn't want to talk to their mortgage consultant. We have our own. We moved here from US and we are disgusted by the bad customer service we received from this company. We found this property on righmove. So basically they declined the viewing to a very good customer, potentially paying with cash. I'm sure their client won't be happy if they knew they are not trying very hard to sell their property. We also spent 20 minutes on the phone giving all personal details, waste of time. Not sure if what they are doing is even legal. Will have to look into it. Such a shady business
Fact....we only spoke to your husband not you and It was less than 5 minutes...not the 20 you claim. In the times of covid we make sure that all viewings are safe and that all potential buyers are financially checked...we offer a mortgage service your husband declined. I asked for a copy of his AIP and said I would check with the vendor that they would be happy to take a viewing that we could not financially check. I called your husband back to arrange the viewing which he declined...fact you declined to be financially checked and the viewing. I think your review is harsh. I'm happy to arrange the viewing if you call us. Normal practice as all estate agents must conform to the Money Laundering Regulations, and doing thorough checks is standard practice. In certain circumstances, the Estate Agent may ask for further proof.

GoogleGary worked tirelessly to secure a sale for us within the contracted period, always listened and responded positively to our views, was very honest at all times and as a consequence was very easy to work with. We have been delighted with the outcome to date and as long as the sale progresses to a successful conclusion (which we recognise is not 100% in his control), will be very happy. GoogleWe sold our house in Newport Pagnell through Astons (having previously purchased through them 6 years prior). From listing our house on the market, having viewings, and up to the point of accepting an offer our experience was largely positive. However once the offer was accepted, the dynamic instantly changed and we felt we were treated as an obstacle in most interactions, some conversations felt slightly inflammatory/confrontational and relied on me to keep the wheels moving to sale. We felt we stopped being treated as the customer. From exchange to completion we had absolutely no contact from Astons at all - I had to call of the day we moved out to check where the house keys should be left! Small touches would have made a big difference, unfortunately Astons lived up to the stereotype in our experience.
Hi Ben...Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I have read all your points and feel we need address them all. You listed the property in Nov 2020 the property sold in Jan 2021 with 12 assisted viewings carried out. Stuart was your file handler. Stuart liased with all parties in the chain until a completion date was given by your purchaser for early April 21 your purchaser was in a position to complete due to Stuarts case handling in just 10 weeks after you accepted there offer. This date was not agreeable to you due to your work commitments plus your solicitor was not ready on either the sale or your related purchase. We pointed out to you, that your solicitor had not dealt with answering an enquiry despite you providing the information 3 weeks prior. This causes frustrations for all concerned and Stuart acknowledges that conversation may have got slightly inflammatory/confrontational, please remember Stuart was working to keep the sale on course and keep your buyer on board. On you point about between exchange and completion, I am sorry if we did not contact you regarding keys on completion day, this would normally happen. We have taken all your points and will use them to improve customer service going forward...as I agree Small touches would have made a big difference.

GoogleThe sale of our deceased parents' bungalow was always going to be a bit traumatic but Astons were onhand, helpful and patient throughout the whole process. The prevailing economic climate at the time prolonged the process and Astons remained professional, offering us sensible advice and maintaining the flow of viewings. In summary excellent customer service, value for money and a successful sale.

GoogleFairly bad experience. I had many initial problems with the condition of the flat I rented. The moment I asked to fix the most serious problems (broken fridge, broken boiler, ..) they helped me. But unfortunately it was very difficult to deal with the manager of this agency because he is a rude and arrogant person. Apparently they don't really care about property's conditions or client service. I can't complain about the end of the tenancy agreement because they have been efficent.
Sorry to read your review. Brand new fridge was fitted and the flat doesn't have a boiler. Hope all goes well in italy. On the flat condition it was the same as when you viewed it and asked to let it

GoogleWe went to look at a total of four houses with these, spaced over two weekends. The first person to come show us around, made an awful impression when he came speeding down the estate and bumped up the kerb. He looked fairly hungover, of the three houses he showed us he did not know very much information on the houses. On the second occasion of having to deal with us they were having an open house afternoon, due to COVID we had an appointment slot and they made it fairly clear we had to be on time. We did arrive early but waited for our time as appointment was at 1415, we were not let in to 1425, the estate agent said to look around while he played games on his laptop. To finish it off we were rushed out at half past two for the next person. So unprofessional and a disappointment, they gave so an awful impression to buyers.NegativeQuality, Professionalism

GoogleI decided to sell through Astons Estate Agents, Newport Pagnell office because they were local to my old house and have good knowledge of the area (schools, high street, etc), and could answer any questions from anyone thinking of moving there. I was very lucky with the sale as they already had a list of possible purchasers who were looking to move into the area. During the sale there was always someone in the office who could help with any questions I had and they were always prompt when phoning back if needed, always helpful during such a stressful time! I would recommend them to anyone either selling or looking to buy in Newport Pagnell as they are a friendly and helpful group of people.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleThe guys from Astons estates were very always very professional, polite and courteous in all my conversations with them, always displaying a positive and can do attitude. They made every effort to bring about the sale in what turned out to be a long and drawn out process. I lost count of the viewings they carried out. The guys were always on hand to answer my queries and explain things I didn’t know about or understand. Even though I was new to the process I always felt the house sale was in safe hands. Astons Newport Pagnell have gone above and beyond for me and my partner. We weren’t on the market for a month and we are now Sold STC.
