Our experience selling with them was more than disappointing from start to finish. They are rude, condescending and bad professionals to the point that I was tempted more than once to pull off in order to avoid them getting any money from me. Tom tried once to convince me in the rudest way, as if I didn’t understand plain English, that I had to hire an architect and spend thousands of pounds in order to get the second floor of my property regularised when the property was build that way in 1853. One call from me to Building Control and the issue was solved. On one occasion Tom called saying the buyers wanted to come on the next day to take measures of the place. We accepted. On the day of the visit nobody came and no one contacted us. When we called to the office Tom was on his day off and David said “let me see what happened and I’ll come back to you”. We didn’t have any news back. Weeks after, when I met the buyers in person, I learned that they never requested the visit in first place. I could relate many other negative experiences to illustrate how incompetent and bad professional Tom is, but I will just summarise by saying that I would stay away from them at all costs.

I can highly recommend Astons. We chose them as they had most "for sale" signs up in the local area so we thought they must be good or nobody would be using them. Stuart called initially and talked us through the process and gave us a valuation. When we were ready, Gary came to take photos and measure everything and the property went on the market next day on all the major national property sites. There were many viewings over the next few days and weeks and it was sold in less than 4 weeks! Gary and Stuart were always available with help and advice throughout the whole sale. Very efficient and proactive service throughout all the selling process. A buyer was found quickly and a good price was negotiated painlessly. Conveyancers were chased up regularly, and clear communications were maintained all the way through to exchange and completion during a very challenging backdrop of Covid Lockdown. I worked with Gary Davidson and found him exceptionally professional, personable and proactive when it came to selling our house. My wife and I felt Gary & the Aston's team had a good understanding of our situation and reacted quickly with viewings which ran on time, with punctual feedback. The fees Aston's charge are very reasonable considering the high level of service your receive. Therefore I felt compelled to share this review, as I know finding a trusted agency can be challenging. I was reluctant myself before starting our search but was lucky to find Astons, who explain everything, putting my wife and I at ease. If you are in the MK area I would highly recommend Astons. That is by-in-large down to the positive experience I had under Gary's guidance.

I chose to use Astons to manage the rental of my flat, as I had purchased the flat from them years ago, and felt they had the knowledge of the property and the area to deal best with it. I was also in the process of purchasing a house and despite me not being given much notice of completion dates, Jemma and Astons have managed to find me a tenant in a matter of weeks, and have dealt with my queries with their usual professionalism and patience. I needed a new mortgage advisor as my trusted guy had retired, and Astons recommended their own, I was a bit skeptical at first, but Kerri was amazing from start to finish, and i will now continue to use her services in future when needed. I'd like to say a big thank you to Astons Estates (David / Stuart / Tim) and their associates (Kerri @ Mortgage Advice Bureau / Scott & Sonia @ Premier Solicitors) for a speedy house purchase. There was no chain, I enquired about the property at the start of October and completed this week! They were all very knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had. Kerri also spent a fair amount of time answering queries from the mortgage underwriters. I'm not planning on moving again any time soon. If I did move and got the opportunity to work with them all again, I'd be happy.

We have had a great experience with Astons. Firstly Gary who came to our house and gave us our valuation was extremely personable and made us feel confident that Astons would be able to find us a buyer - which they did on our first open day! We were then unfortunately stuck in a chain but thanks to Stuart's tenacity, we have now exchanged (with completion around the corner). Everyone at Astons are polite, friendly and quick to respond but we really appreciated Stuart in particular for keeping us in the loop with regular updates and chasing all the parties involved (no mean feat!) In the process of buying our first house with Astons Estate Agents and it has been a very quick, smooth process from viewing, to offer acceptance and beyond. Stuart has been amazing and has answered any queries we have quickly, no matter how minor and has fully explained each stage of the process. Having never purchased a house before, I haven't fully understood how everything works but this has never been an issue and Stuart has provided excellent customer service and made me feel comfortable in asking questions.
