Good service

The service and support received in viewing the flat and submitting the references was alright. Luke was quite responsive and accommodating throughout the process. We appreciated that he did his best to ensure the flat was ready to receive us. However, finalizing the contract took too much back and forth when a different member of the team picked up the reins. A clause we had negotiated in our offer had been left out and we were given a wrong invoice twice.

Keatons Lauren Wood and Natalie Craddock Very Helpful!!

I worked with Keatons across Dev 22 and Jan 23.Lauren Wood initially showed me the flat, was very personable and helpful and sent me what she needed to promptly.There were delays moving into the flat (not related to Keatons or Lauren) and Lauren was very good at a) helping move things along and I pressing the urgency and on working in my behalf with the landlady and b) keeping me clearly informed as to what was happening.We managed to get moved in on time and I was very impressed and grateful.Natalie Craddock also was helpful in ensuring I was able to get my contract signed on time and get moved in with minimal delays.I would definitely recommend Lauren and Natalie!

Brilliant service

We bought our flat through Keatons back in 2014 and had such a great experience that we returned to them when we decided to sell in 2022! And once again, we were very happy with their service. OJ Aksu was fantastic. Super communicative around the viewings and secured us an offer within a week of the flat going on the market. He was helpful and responsive throughout the whole process and was happy to answer any questions we had - no matter how stupid they sounded! Together with Jon (Taylor), OJ helped to keep things moving forward, giving us a gentle tap on the shoulder whenever things went quiet on our side. We are so grateful for this as it meant we were able to meet our ambitious target to exchange before Christmas.Would 100% recommend Keatons for anyone looking to buy or sell their property. A lettings agent that wants the fee but not the responsibilities.

Unwillingly becoming a Keatons client has been somewhat an unfortunate experience for me. I was a landlord client of Alphabet City, I am currently selling a property and have been discussing for a few weeks when I will be serving notice on my tenants. I got an email on 11 November saying Alphabet City was merging with Keatons. On 13 November I confirmed the date when I would like to serve notice on my tenants. On 14 November the wrong date was confirmed back to me and I was told it was diarised. So I repeated the correct date immediately by email and asked for the confirmation again. Yesterday 20 November, I sent a follow up to my earlier email asking for the confirmation of dates. I want to serve notice on 25 November. This is cutting it rather fine now. I received the following reply..."As you are aware, a merge has taken place and Alphabet City is now under the umbrella of Keatons. Keatons have advised that as they are not part of the transaction, it is best practice for your solicitor to serve notice to the tenants and would do so ASAP."I do not know what has changed since 6 days earlier when they confirmed they would be serving notice on the wrong date. As for being "part of the transaction," I am the landlord and the managing agent represents me. That's how I'd imagine Keatons are "part of the transaction." Keatons in their follow up say they have given me their "best advice." I have no idea what that means, what it constitutes, and on what basis the advice is given. I've asked but I didn't receive a reply. I have been told that "all companies have different procedures in place." That is vague enough to not mean anything either. I was also told that Keatons are definitely the managing agent (even though they don't want to terminate the tenancy) and that they will still be collecting rent and charging me a management fee as usual.I replied to confirm I would like Keatons to serve the notice. It is now Thursday morning and Keatons deigned to just ignore me for the rest of the day yesterday. I told Keatons a week ago that I wanted to serve notice this coming Monday. After confirming the wrong date, nobody responded for 6 days, as of yesterday we only had 3 remaining weekdays to confirm this so they stopped responding to me again. At the end of today we have 1 weekday remaining. It is incredibly frustrating to just be flat out ignored for such an important matter. It will be even more annoying if I need to now pay my solicitor to serve a notice on my behalf despite my paying a managing agent. It's also frustrating to pay for a service and incorrectly assume it will be delivered until told otherwise. Keatons presumably also doesn't intend to have any dialogue with the tenants about this. Will they want nothing to do with checking inventory either? Or helping organising an end of tenancy cleaner? I don't know. To serve the notice I will have to find the contract. I don't think I even have the tenants' mobile numbers or know how to formally serve a notice. This is literally why I had a managing agent in the first place. It is not the first time my management agent has been taken over or merged, but it is certainly the first time that the resulting agency wants to keep collecting the management fee without doing the work or even bothering to reply to their client.

I recently purchased a property via Keatons (Stratford branch). I found the process very smooth and both Ryan and Chloe were always very pleasant and helpful all the way through. I have since then dealt with the lettings team and Shani is a very professional and knowledgeable agent. They managed to secure offers on my apartment very fast and helped me find the best tenant to move in within a month. Communication is very prompt and good. I have been with Keatons Stratford as a tenant since Sep 2010. I recommend it to both tenants and landlords as Keatons lettings team knows how to balance it all up. Worth mentioning their professional approach throughout. I wasn't quite sure about regular visits and checks (though always with appropriate notice that suits both parties). However, when I suddenly needed all necessary certificates from them, they delivered to me in no time! Brilliant legally correct service. Well done Shani, James, Laura, Elza, Krissie and team!

We recently moved into Bow, we chose Keaton’s as they have lots properties and a wide range of price points listed. The service was great from our first viewing to signing our contact. Justine was great and she had great knowledge of the area. Justine and Natalie were fantastic in answering all of our questions and guiding us through the process. Natalie was very professional and efficient when we were handed over to her to complete our tenancy agreement etc. The company also use a third party to assist in setting up all of our new accounts. That totally took the stress away from the move. We would definitely use Keatons in the future and would recommend them.
