Manuela from Foxtons Stratford has been absolutely amazing! We couldn’t have been luckier to have met her, the most helpful and kind agent! We had been looking for a property to rent for ages and were beginning to lose hope when Manuela came along and found us somewhere with everything we wanted and more! Other agents gave up after a couple properties didn’t work out but Manuela made it her absolute priority to find us somewhere with everything we wanted. Her positive attitude kept us hopeful and she more than came through on her promise! So grateful to her for our new home. What an asset to the company! ❤️

We really had a Wonderful experience with Foxtons in Stratford. My estate agent Maruf was really helpful throughout the process and was quick top showing us properties - some of which weren't even on the market yet , he made sure that the properties we saw checked all of our boxes and followed up with the landlord after office hours as well. If you are a renter, please do not use Foxtons. They are a scammy horrible company that only serves the interests of the landlord. They rented us an overpriced disgusting dump by using old out-of-date photos in the rental ad, and locked us into an abusively restrictive contract that made it impossible to leave the horrible dump that ruined my mental health. Do yourself a favour and stay away from these money hungry scammers.

I feel that the experience was negative

I put my flat up for sale with my Foxtons, I was going to go with another agent but they were very pushy and said how they managed to sell better than anyone so I went with them. I was under the impression my flat would go straight up but after I signed the contract it took them 2 weeks to take photos and put them up, in the meantime they put up a video of the flat from a mid-term inspection where it looked absolutely disgusting. I had never seen this video and I don't see why it would be allowed to be put up without my permission, I asked for it to be removed, they didn't and it took them nearly the 2 weeks to remove it. The photos they took were adequate but not particularly great, I was pretty disappointed. I felt that the price was extremely over inflated (like all their prices) but respected they knew better than me, but when every single person gave feedback that it was way overpriced and no one showed any interest I became quite embarrassed. I found it very hard to contact my sales agent and just gave up most times after leaving numerous messages. I heard from my agent 10 times more before I signed with them than I did during my contract. When I gave notice 28 days before the end after having no interest, I was reminded how they are the number one and warned that going to another agent would not solve the issue. Their commission is so much more than everyone else but I feel my experience with their sales agent was extremely poor and I can't believe I had no interest in my nice flat. I feel I made a mistake going with them and would caution anyone thinking of them. Also I rented my flat with them for nearly 2 decades and my last tenant emailed them notice which they said they did not receive until the next day so they extended the end date to one day beyond the end of the month, they then charged me a management fee of £9 for the one day (and she paid £1 something rent for that one day). I will never rent with them again due to the complete lack of transparency with regards to money. (As for the excuse that the housing market is quiet I put my other property up for sale at the same time and it sold within 2 weeks, but then again the photos were really good and the price was reasonable).

Foxtons Took Instructions from the wrong ‘Seller’. We lost thousands. Our experience with Foxtons has been a nightmare. The Stratford branch listed and accepted our offer on a property without confirming that the person instructing them had the legal right to sell. Months later, we discovered that the actual owner never authorised the sale, leaving us thousands of pounds out of pocket in legal and survey fees. This is a basic regulatory requirement they completely ignored. As a result, we’ve lost thousands and endured months of wasted time and stress. Foxtons’ actions show a disregard for regulation, transparency, and customer care.

Foxtons Stratford helped me find my dream home. Whole process from first viewing to completion was very smooth. I booked a viewing only for 1 property, however Mustaq showed me 4 others one of which I ended up liking more than the initial one I was planning on viewing. Had he not, I'd still be searching. Mustaq and King are very professional and listen to their client with lot of patience and cater to their needs. I would definitely recommend Foxtons as your Estate agents.
