GoogleThey advertised the house without mentioning, intentionally hid it in the pictures, that a couple of rooms were effectively still a construction site, with exposed walls, materials, and tools left inside from unfinished refurbishment work. They also failed to disclose that it was a corporate sale, which wasted our time.

I've been dealing with the Gosforth branch recently, in particular Ellie Erskine in the sales department. They've been excellent so far, stayed in touch regularly, offered advice where needed and been nothing but helpful. If you're buying/selling/renting etc I'd highly recommend these guys.

GoogleI recommend the Rook Mathews Office in Jesmond, Newcastle Upon Tyne. They are a reliable and competent real estate agents. They sold my house for me even though I was living in Poland and everything was dealt with very well, they were really friendly and helpful. An amazing team at the Blyth office of RMS, from the valuation to completion. Kept us informed every step of the way. Very helpful if we had any queries. Everyone was very helpful & friendly. Overall service has been excellent. The only thing we feel & it’s only feedback is that when we were being shown around properties it would have been useful for that person to have a little knowledge about that property.

We recently sold a property through RMS in Blyth, sale went smoothly and quick. Dealt with Allison at the start who was great and then handed over to Kate once the sale had been agreed and she was fantastic - we always felt that she dealt with any questions we had and remained professional throughout our dealings. I've just purchased a property with Rook Matthews Sayer, Bedlington branch. From the beginning I found the people who work there to be outstanding, so helpful and kind. They guided me through the process of my purchase, going out of their way to make sure I had the keys to access the property after a very long journey. I don't intend to sell, but if I did I wouldn't hesitate to go with them.

We are not local and looking to relocate to the area. Trying to view property advertised with Rook Matthew Sayers is impossible! Remote viewings are not an option for this agent and trying to get an appointment is impossible! Do those selling there homes know the lack of effort the make Rook Matthew Sayers make on their behalf?
Good afternoon Stephen, after discussing your review with both the teams at Gosforth and Hexham, it seems like there may be some confusion regarding your experience.I believe that as per your request my colleague at the Gosforth branch was able to organise and book an in person viewing for you at a property you were interested in, however, you cancelled the viewing the next day via email.Furthermore, regarding another property, a member of our Hexham team advised you that remote viewings were not available for that specific property as it already had received a lot of interest. Video tours are available at RMS should the vendor opt for one. However, this decision lies with the vendor and not RMS, we can confirm our Hexham branch do have properties with video tours and have done for a while.We invest in a number of marketing tools to promote our vendors properties, some of which are also not available with our competitors. We continuously review and invest in the latest technologies to promote our vendors properties to the best advantage. Furthermore, our Hexham team assured you that we would be more than happy to accommodate an in person viewing at a convenient time for yourself, which you declined. If you would like to arrange an in person viewing, again, we would be more than happy to accommodate this for you. We wish you the best of luck in your house hunt and are here to help should you like to view any other properties.

Alistair was amazing! He made finding the best mortgage easy and uncomplicated. He walked me through the entire process and was realistic with what I was able to attain. He was also there when I needed advice when things weren’t quite going to plan with the solicitors. Nothing was too much trouble and I would recommend him to everyone I know.

RMS Alnwick are quite simply light years ahead of other estate agents in the area, in terms of effectiveness, professional working, excellent marketing of properties for sale and their fast-acting, super efficient staff who work as a cohesive team, and NOT in siloes. I was selling my mothers home which was an emotional experience but thanks to the staff in the Fenham branch it was completed quickly and professionally. From the very first contact the staff kept me up to date in the process. Her home went on the market on the Friday and an offer accepted on the Monday. The sale was completed within 6 weeks. I could not fault the service or the cost. Would thoroughly recommend iris definitely a 5 star from me.

Diabolical. How do landlords get their properties rented out with this company?! I enquired on a commercial property and the agent was only interested in me agreeing to a viewing! I told him that I didn’t want to waste my time or his and needed some questions answered first. He took my details and said he would call me back… 3 days later, nothing! I even emailed in for some details and guess what… nothing again. I was very interested in taking over the premises but due to this diabolical lack of contact I will continue my search!
