FacebookWe have had the pleasure of dealing with Jayne Morris originally from the Kington branch, who helped us almost 2 years ago with our rental search. She had ideas and inspirations for us, before we even moved in. Nothing was a problem and she would always plan to see us, for viewings, when convenient with myself and my partner. Since we have lived here, Jayne has always gone above and beyond with helping us and sorting any problems out, highly recommended.

FacebookI was delighted with the excellent service I received from Declan Hartigan at Chancellors. I called one morning on the off chance there were any vacant properties to view that afternoon and he arranged a viewing within a couple hours. I loved the property and was able to make an application in minutes. The entire process has been smooth as Declan has kept me well-informed and immediately answered any queries I've had. Also, the entire process was completed within a week! The help and efficiency I have received from Chancellors has taken the stress away from moving house!

FacebookI rent a flat via Chancellors and I have not seen people more UNPROFESSIONAL in my whole life. They only care about taking your money at the beginning of the process and making up ridiculous excuses to keep the money of your deposit at the end. NEVER AGAIN!
Exactly our experience too. I would never ever deal with this estate agent again. Absolutely disgraceful the way they treat tenants.

GoogleI live in Bolton. I'm looking to buy a property in Newbury. Phoned Chancellors on 16th April while in Newbury to get details of a property added on rightmove on 15th April. Newbury office was busy but gentleman who answered call at another office assured me someone would phone back same day before I headed back north. Guess what - no one did. Back in Newbury next week so contacted Newbury office and arranged viewing. Spotted deliberate mistake - they hadn't told me address of property! I have a problem with time of appointment so phoned Newbury office at 4.30ish yesterday to try and reschedule by 30 minutes. Was advised someone would phone me back before they closed. You guessed it - nobody did. Have phoned again today and spoken to lovely lady who was going to message the Newbury office manager to try and help us. Now been waiting 4 hours and no response. Trying to view a property with Chancellors is not easy, trying to sell one through them must be a real challenge. I'm told the internet is the future, so once this review is posted I'll see if I get a good old fashioned phone call but not holding my breath!

FacebookAs a contractor working with Chancellors has been great the refurbishment dept and property managers are friendly and helpful. Casey Gramson and Elysia Phillips have been fantastic to work with. They help greatly to get jobs completed, relaying information to Landlords and tenants.

I bought my flat through Chancellors Newbury 3 years ago, I then put it on the market with Chancellors, before finally renting it through their lettings department. On each occasion they have been utterly professional. Their staff are friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and very reliable. They respond quickly, dot every i and cross every t. I couldn't be more impressed with them, I only wish other agents were this good, then perhaps estate agents wouldn't have such a bad name! For my property, I wouldn't consider renting or selling through anyone else.

Facebookwith advice asking us to market our house at over 30k less than value, plus a lack of competence, we regret ever signing up with Chancellors. waiting for the contract to end so we can go with more competent estate agents.

Facebookabsolutely appalling service. i cancelled the contract with them within the 14 days period due to a change in circumstances. they never even visited the property to take photos and it was never placed on rightmove. what followed was 4 months of debt letters, demanding paying costs. now been sent a county court letter. completely ignored when i challenged the costs, taken off in under 7 days. disgusting level of service. NEVER use this agent.

GoogleAmazing gaggle of girls! Can't speak highly enough of the service we received while selling our house. They really understood our particular situation with having two small children and went above and beyond to support us throughout the whole process. Not only did they do a great job of holding my hand, guiding me through each stage, but quite literally held my children's hands. "I love Caroline, she's my funny friend but she is quite little without her shoes on." - Imogen, 4 years old.

GooglePeople often say selling a house is one of the most stressful times in your life! all I can say is either I'm extreamly relaxed about these types of things or Chancellors did such a great job I didn't notice I was suposed to be stressed! Selling our house with Chancellors was simple, smooth and very professional with a human touch. Caroline and the rest of the team were great to work with and listened to my requirements and instructions (which is rare with estate agents, judging by other poeples experience!) and acted upon them with the utmost competence and professionalism. I would strongly recommend Chancellors services and will definately use again in the future....
