GoogleThe team in the Newbury Office (Brooke and Tom) offered excellent professional service in ensuring a quick and smooth change over of tenants for us. However, Chancellors do subcontract the detailed and more formal account handling to specialist lettings teams, and this does cause some confusion.

FacebookI bought a flat from chancellors. Basically had no contact from them in the 5 months the property took to complete and my emails were ignored. When the property completed they didn't have the keys to the back door. This despite the fact they had used a key to show us outside during the viewing. Liars trying to cover up the fact they had lost keys. Would use a different more professional estate agents.

GoogleThank you very much Bryony for helping me to get the house .. Reducing the point due to pathetic post support. No proper direction, too much process and no proper guidance .. really pathetic. In future, i will try to avoid dealing with Chancellor for any of my property requirements.

FacebookVERY DISAPPOINTED by the “polite” but inconsiderate behaviour of Newbury’s Branch Manager (who you’d think would know better). Rather than parking in the allotted (& available) parking of the property he visited, he parks on a path blocking pedestrian use, impeding road use and blocking my drive. Interesting that he considers a smile and “won’t be long” statement makes this ok! 40mins and counting. Well, that’s one less estate agent to consider.

FacebookThe worst possible agents I have ever had the misfortune to know. They refuse to organise any viewings to anyone other than a cash buyer ! Where do they expect you to live when your house is sold ? The rudest,most condescending,arrogant people in the world. Are chancellors trying to control the whole property market with their aggressive tactics?I would never market a property with them as they refuse to allow viewings.
