I’ve written this on another site but it is well worth repeating.The best experience of the house buying process was finding a decent human being who actually cared about the feelings of the participants and the integrity of the process. Oliver was that person. He sold and helped us buy our new property, going out of his way to calm our fractious nerves whilst dealing with the agressive seller and his inept, obstructive, rude, pushy Estate agent that almost had us telling them where to go.Oliver is the man to go to for selling or buying your house. I can’t urge you enough.

GoogleLost a sale for their customers with very poor service, bad attitude and lack of any customer service experience. I feel sorry for their customer who would have been offered full asking price!
Our proposed bad attitude is equally matched by yours Mr Garner. I do not think its correct for you to speak to a member of my staff in the way that you have. Nor have we acted incorrectly. The offer you made under the asking price was submitted to our vendor. It was too low. As confirmed and also pre-empted in our conversation before we submitted it to her. I feel more sorry for your difficult nature, sharp tone and awful attitude for someone who hasn't got what they wanted. Our vendor is perfectly happy with our actions and service and has been made fully aware of the negative conversation we had earlier today. We felt the need to express your thoughts and feelings and openly shared the contents of the conversation with her, which hasn't changed her feelings. She has and always will remain our priority. If you wanted the property that badly you would have offered the asking price. Instead you threw your toys out the pram and felt the need to slate my business. Unnecessarily. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. It's just a shame you weren't able to channel your frustrations into finding a resolution and moving forward positively. I hope this review gives you a small degree of satisfaction.

What an amazing professional person Oliver is. We purchased our home recently through Oliver Reilly and we are so thankful that we did as if not we wouldn’t have made it to completion / exchange (due to a VERY difficult vendor making life extremely tricky for everyone - through no fault of Oliver’s). I cannot recommend him enough, such a professional, personable and kind person who’s so honest and supportive. We could always turn to him for advice and support through the entire process. Fully recommend him you will not be disappointed- if I ever move again he will be my go to person and I have been singing his praises to everyone. 10/10!

Absolutely shocking Estate Agent. Constantly had to chase him up for updates and after 3 long months, the house purchase fell through. No hint of trying to make good or even negotiation. Use this guy at your peril.
It is highly disappointing you withdrew from your purchase Mr Corbett, especially when the contracts had just been issued for the vendors to sign this week, who were also agreeable to the proposed completion date you had suggested. However, the chain fell through due to timescales not being aligned with all parties of the chain, something I physically can't change. Especially when my vendors withdrew from a proposed purchase mid-transaction and had to begin the process again, playing catch-up. Although it could not be guaranteed, there was a strong chance the chain could have all been ready for the end of August, as required. I am unable to force the hands of solicitors to exchange contracts, when the above transaction was not quite ready. This is a matter out of my control. The vendors, myself and agent above were all working together to chase the sale and apply relevant pressures, where possible. I am also unsure what levels of negotiation were required to satisfy you. Other than requesting my elderly vendors to break the chain. Which was refused on multiple occasions. This is something you have decided to do on your own accord, which I can comprehend your reasons for doing do. Please don't read that as a criticism. Its merely a statement. You gave no options to 'negotiate' other than stating you were no longer proceeding with the purchase, as you weren't prepared to wait any longer. I do understand your reasons for withdrawing, as you made the executive decision to break the chain and come off the property ladder, due to the time requirements of your purchasers. I respect you have a family to provide for and need to ensure a roof over your heads by the end of the month. I have been understanding and sympathetic of your strained timescale, which was made apparent and also fedback to the vendors and above chain on a number of occasions. You did regularly chase for updates. That is correct, but were also updated by myself on all elements of the above chain, as and when possible. I did not fail to come back to you with relevant information. This was provided as soon as it was obtained by third parties, such as solicitors and other estate agents within the above chain, even out of hours. I recognise your frustration with the outcome of the transaction. However, you made the decision not to proceed with the purchase, with no other options than setting an exchange and completion date that worked with yourselves and your buyers. I hope this 1 start review gives you some satisfaction and closure. I am hugely disappointed the transaction did not work out for all involved parties and its an equally large shame that you have to point the blame at myself. Regardless of your thoughts and feelings towards me. I do sincerely wish you and your family all the best moving forward, I hope you manage to secure a future home swiftly, with more ease and a considerable lower amount of stress.

We used Oliver Reilly to sell our house a couple of months ago. He made it such a an easy process, even after the twenty third viewing was booked in. Even when there were quite a few offers coming in, he talked me through and helped with the decision of the right purchaser. He also kept the lines of communication which makes the process of buying and selling so much simpler. All in all I would definitely use Oliver again for his calmness and professionalism.

I chose Oliver Reilly to sell my late mother’s bungalow because of his enthusiasm, and being a small business, Oliver offered a more personal touch. As I live 250 miles away Oliver made himself available for the visits by the energy assessor, surveyor etc. He sold the bungalow in the first few days and kept me informed night and day at every stage. He went above and beyond. The customer service was second to none and I would recommend Oliver Reilly with no hesitation.

GoogleAs first time buyers, buying a property was all very new to us but Oliver was there as a direct communication to push everything forward in the right direction but also in a efficient manner. We couldn’t recommend Oliver enough, nothing was too big of an ask and he was happy to solve any issues that arose. He’d communicate changes and updates no matter how big or small and we couldn’t have asked for more. We certainly will be looking to use Oliver again as both a buyer and in the future a seller. We were purchasing our first home together and I had no idea how the process worked, or what to expect, and Oliver was fantastic at explaining everything to me, and not in the legal language the solicitors used! He was extremely approachable, and is just fantastic at his job! He helped push our solicitors along as they needed several pushes to get things going, and is genuinely a really lovely guy! He helped us find the perfect house and gave us a little welcome gift and card with the keys which was really thoughtful. I hope we never.move again but if we do, we will be going straight to Oliver for sure!!
