After over a year of attempting to sell a property with different agents I approached Oliver. The property in question was outside his usual area but he was keen and enthusiastic to give it a go. All I can say is I whish I'd of approached him sooner. The property completed sale on November 15th 2024 after only being on the market with him for around 6 weeks. He went above and beyond to secure a sale, dealing with all viewings although the property was an hour round trip for him.

GoogleI didn't use Oliver to sell our house but I wish I had! I met him as he was acting on behalf of the sellers of the property we were buying and you wouldn't think his business had been running for less than a year. Throughout our chain of 4 properties Oliver was the person who became my go-to person and kept me most updated. Moving house is not something most people do very often so aren't aware of who does what but Oliver was always very professional in his attitude and available when we needed answers. I really couldn't recommend him highly enough.

GoogleMy Sister and I sadly losed our Father in February 2021, and as executors we had to deal with his affairs including the sale of his flat in central Newark. After contacting 2 other Estate Agents we chose Oliver Reilly, for both of us this was a bit of a gamble as Oliver is a new business in Newark. I called Oliver and he came straight round to the flat, we talked about the flat and he provided details of similar properties in the area to back up the sales price, however for us and more importantly he listened and was sympathetic and empatheitic under the circumstances. Oliver lined up viewings and within about 48hrs had a firm offer, unfortunately the buyers backed out a day later. Whilst we felt gutted, Oliver was very positive and reassuring, and advised he already had another potential couple interested, he contacted them and made an appointment for them to view the property. An offer was made and accepted. During the process of obtaining probate Oliver kept ourselves and the buyers up to date, he reassured us that the buyers were still interested even after waiting several months, and also kept the buyers informed of progress. Olivers strap line is "Passionate about Property", and he certainly is. He is professional, calm and very level headed. Nothing fazed him and he got the sale across the line for the asking price even when it seemed that probate was never going to finish. We want to thank Oliver for his conduct, as having someone like Oliver on our side to sell at a very raw time made things just that little bit easier and took a lot of pressure off. I have and will continue to recommend Oliver Reilly to friends and family and will use him again if needed in the future.

GoogleMy daughter was let down by Newark branch . Misleading advertising on property she was going to buy they said it had uPVC double glazing and garage . Wooden framed windows plus dilapidated garage built of asbestos that needs pulling down and taken away . All Ready to exchange contracts. She has lost thousands thanks to their lies.
Good evening. The property I believe you are referring to has not been falsely advertised. The house itself does have uPVC double glazing. There may be wooden external frames and ledges but the windows are still constructed of uPVC. Albeit, in an older style. We do not specify the age of the windows/ glazing. That is to be clarified by the solicitors. Hence the 'subject to contract' statement on any agreed sale. Therefore if the information provided is not acceptable, your daughter could withdraw at anytime. It is evident from viewing the property externally, of the condition and style of the windows. The only windows which are not uPVC are on the utility room. The information provided on our details states: ' majority uPVC double glazing throughout. This excludes the two wooden windows in the utility room'. We also include particular information regarding each room. Under the' utility room' it specifically states: 'Wooden double glazed window to the right side and rear elevation. An external left side door gives access into the rear garden'. We have documented there is a concrete garage and have not commented on if the roof is asbestos, or not. We are not qualified to confirm this. We therefore recommend to all purchasers to have an independent survey to clarify any further details, make observations and sensible recommendations on any remedial works required. This is written clearly on ALL of our property details. My understanding is that the property your daughter wishes to purchase is still going ahead, subject to a new price to being agreed, following the results of a survey, which was arranged after 3 months of the sale being agreed. She was not forced to proceed with the conveyancing until she had arranged a survey. This is usually one of the first courses of action. Which we also recommend at the beginning of a transaction. Therefore no other costs would have been encountered, other than the payment for the survey, which is always at the risk of any buyer. Some purchasers wait for the results of a survey, before engaging with solicitors and incurring costs. I also understand your daughter has revisited this property more than three times, over various periods, to assess the workload required. One of which has recently been with the vendor himself. The condition of the property has not changed since her first viewing back in November 2023. The property is advertised as requiring a modernisation scheme. Which is apparent from our photos and description. It would also be apparent after the first, second and third viewing, etc. Along with information and recommendations from an independent chartered surveyor. It is HUGELY disappointing to read that you feel we have lied to secure a sale. We haven't! We are working with both vendor and purchaser (your daughter) to try and find a resolution and see the sale through to completion. You are more than welcome to contact our branch directly and engage in a conversation to discuss these points further. Which is something we have been doing with your daughter this week, to keep the sale from falling through, for everyone's sake. We will continue to do this, in the hope the sale can reach a successful conclusion.
