Both parts of our house move were handled by James Dean (Richard and Lucy in Builth Wells (selling), David and Gwen in Brecon (buying). The marketing of our property was flawless and the first viewing purchased! Lucy was an absolute stalwart of chasing progress and keeping us informed (whilst maintaining a great sense of humour throughout). Likewise, David and Gwen were always accommodating of our requests to visit, and revisit, our soon to be new home in Brecon. All now complete and happy with all aspects of the James Dean service. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble for any of the team. If we were to ever move again we’d certainly approach James Dean without question. Highly recommended.

A review for Shelby Chandler-Wootton as she was our middle to last contact who helped achieve what we thought was the impossible. She went out of her way to make sure our buyer was getting stuff done. We believe between her and a 3rd party involved with the purchase of our new home, they got this done on time! We thank you so much for pushing our buyer because we soon learnt a few weeks after moving that they had absolutely no interest in living in our old home and have now LET this out thus confirming why it was more stressful waiting on them getting documents sent (they didnt really care it seemed, either too layed back or incompetent). We genuinely thought we were going to lose our buyer 1 week before Completion and by this point, both us and our sellers were already underway with moving and selling items. Shelby did what she could to get this over the line so we thank you!

Richard acted as my agent to sell a local property for me, despite my residing in the USA. He was willing and able to work with my daughter who was able to represent me in the UK. He was prompt and efficient when responding to communications and made the process run smoothly from start to end. We achieved a quick sale and despite this occurring during the holiday season it was completed very quickly without any problems. Richard is very friendly and helpful he responsed to all correspondence in a very timely manner.
