GoogleI have been inquiring about a property for over a week and no one has bothered to come back. When they finally got back they did not arrange a viewing for another week and when the day finally came to view the property, they didn’t bother turning up, luckily the seller allowed us in. I don’t know what to say apart from I really felt sorry for the seller as they were vulnerable and did not know they were been let down by their so called Local and Caring Estate Agents. WE WILL DEFO NOT BE CALLING YOU GUYS AGAIN

GoogleCalled to make a general enquiry today, spoke to someone named James who would not give me the VERY GENERAL information I was asking for unless I gave him my full address to him. I told him that that information was private to me and according to new GDPR laws there is no requirement for me to give my address to ask a general question. When I told him that I do not feel comfortable giving my address yet, his reply was ‘ I am not asking for your blood, just an address’ which was outright out of order and rude. Quite disappointing really as I’ve had a few dealings with good fellows from other regions and have never had any issues until today Their website claims ‘ Our team is our most valuable asset and we work together in an atmosphere of fun and respect. We support each other to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve our personal goals. We want our people to enjoy working for us and you so that they deliver the best service.‘ I really wish this branch lived up to their claim on the website. They clearly did not get the exceptional rating from The Estate Agent Guide based on James’s / Mitcham’s branch customer service I did not get the information I wanted due to this. Disappointing really

As for the altercation over the phone earlier in this week in Mitcham; I have discussed the incident with the member of staff and I understand you confirmed you were registered on our system but did not want to verify your address. Goodfellows has procedures in place to confirm the identity of a registered client when they contact an office asking for additional information to prevent any data breaches and comply with GDPR. I must apologise as it appears this was misunderstood which led to a slightly heated conversation and please be assured it is never Goodfellows intent to upset a customer. GoogleI chose to sell my property with goodfellows as quite a few houses in the area were being sold by them .Jamie and Jonathan came to the house very professional and respectful to me as it was my mums house who had passed away they were really on the ball getting there clients to view the property and from start to finish the property was sold very quickly i would definitely recommend them..PositiveProfessionalism

GoogleVENDORS BE WARNED! I purchased my flat from Goodfellows and the whole process was an awful experience. When I put my initial offer in they didn’t put it forward to the vendor. I know this as the next day the price of the flat was dropped by £15k (much lower than my offer). After I complained and put forward a lower offer this was accepted so the vendor lost out! They also forced me to speak to their in house mortgage broker who threatened me. He said my offer would have less weight if I didn’t speak to him. Very shady and totally illegal! My friend and colleague has just had the same experience, she put forward an offer and the price of the flat was reduced much lower. She hasn’t received an offer letter. The vendors have apparently already moved out and their previous buyer dropped out so I am surprised they won’t accept her offer which is £10k over the current asking price as they must be pretty eager to sell! Both first time buyers with big deposits, working for a Big 4 firm and in the position to move quickly however they chose to play games, awful way to go treat first time buyers and at the vendors expense!
