GoogleFive stars are not enough to rate Tom and his team. He is head and shoulders above all other estate agents (including the big high street names), I know it because I have been registered with them, and it is only when we moved to AL on a friend’s recommendation, that things started moving for us. We initiated the sale of our property just as we hit lockdown. Even though there was demand in the market, uncertainties in the job scenario meant our sale fell through several times due to broken chains. And even as I was despondent, Tom restarted the process each time with redoubled vigour. I hope no one finds it as difficult to sell their property, but if they did, Tom is the ideal person to handle it. GoogleI’ve taken so long to write this review because I’ve been super busy. I could not speak more highly of Tom and of Alexander Lawrence Estate Agents. We had had our house on the market for 2 years without success. I got in contact with Tom and because he is such a lovely, impressive person I wanted to go on with him. From the get go he was wonderful, professional, positive and proactive. COVID hit so I thought that we would not get it sold. Tom told me that a lady was interested In the house. He organised a video tour and then a COVID safe viewing straight away and it was sold. This was the first person Tom ever showed around the house. We have moved 4 times in the last 10 years and I can honestly say that this was THE BEST experience I have ever had with any Estate Agent. Tom’s sales and negotiation skills are second to none. His tenacity and determination are unbelievably impressive, and I’m quite hard to impress.
He and his team are also just lovely people to work with.

GoogleTom was very friendly and professional from the start when he came to look at the house, and so the decision to sell the house with him was an easy one. He had a good plan for selling the house, which did work to the timescales he suggested, unfortunately twice in this experience as my first seller’s sale of their property ran into some issues and so I had to sell again. Throughout the whole experience Tom always responded quickly to any queries I had and was proactive in trying to resolve issues. Viewings were done in ‘bulk’ so minimal impacts on me, particularly good during Covid.
I liked having a WhatsApp group set up so we could easily communicate too. For the second sale Nick handled the viewings and again did a great job. I wouldn’t hesitate recommend them to friends and family 😊PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

A few days before we exchanged contracts ton the sale, it fell through, no fault of the buyers. Tom was marvelous, within two days he got in touch with a previous client who was interested in the property, and we were able to sell the property (this time it went through). Tom was always there at the end of the line to help with every query or doubt I had, which were many. He took the stress out of everything. I am 66 and a retired pensioner, who does not do computers, which made things a little more difficult for him. If I do have any problems I can always give him a ring, he makes you feel like family and not just another client.

GoogleWithout a doubt the best estate agents in the area. After a long time dealing with other agents who quite frankly were useless, Alexander Lawrence was a breath of fresh air! From the first meeting until the day of completion Tom Lawrence was nothing but honest, attentive and reliable. Right from the start Tom's experience in the field was obvious and he knew exactly what we needed to do to sell our house. We had been on the market for a few months, had many viewings disrupting our lives and were feeling very frustrated by the whole process. Tom came in and took over, we had an open day on the first Saturday and had six viewings and five offers!! Spoilt for choice Tom then gave great advice on who would be the best buyer for us wanting to move quickly and seven weeks later we completed. I honestly believe this would not have been achieved with any other agent. Tom was always easy to contact, setting up a whats app group and always responded quickly with any questions we had making the whole process a lot easier indeed!! GoogleWe have dealt with a couple of painful estate agents in the past but Tom and his team are radically different; they are absolutely fantastic!
We met Tom when we sold our property and we were looking to buy a property that was on his listing, immediately we could see the difference between Tom and his team and the estate agent selling our property. Further into the sale and purchase we lost our buyer which was basically due to the mismanagement of the estate agent selling our property, then Tom stepped in took our property and sold it in 3 weeks!
Their professionalism was outstanding throughout the process of our sale and purchase, we were kept informed and updated at every step, they are very proactive and reliable.
Their organisational skills is impressive; they organise group viewings which makes it easy for us to prepare the house for viewings and also reduce the impact of having viewers coming in randomly which can be very intrusive.
We are also very impressed with their personal touch; for the first time dealing with estate agents, we actually felt like we are dealing with real people and that we are not just some statistics on file; you can ask a question and get a response almost instantly.
Their innovation with using modern apps such as WhatsApp makes them so much more efficient than other estate agents we have dealt with before; no unnecessary calling on the phone and being tossed around and waiting on queue to eventually be made to leave a voice message.
It was great doing business with Alexander Lawrence and I would recommend their service without any reservation, keep it up!

We met several estates agents but I chose Tommy because I like his upfront and honest approach and from the outset he set realistic expectations. We started marketing our property just before the pandemic, we got a buyer within the first week but it later fell through due to covid. Despite this Tommy worked hard to help us drive enquiries and virtual viewings during the most difficult times and gave us support throughout - as soon as lockdown was over we sold again and he continued to help us navigate our way through the whole process. At all times communication was brilliant, we never had to chase him and we always felt as though we were his top priority.

GoogleI recently dealt with Alexander Lawrence Estate Agents during a property purchase that unfortunately fell through. While the agent communicated well and kept me updated, the seller reneged on the agreed price after several weeks, asking for more money.
This was incredibly disappointing, as I had already incurred costs based on the agreed offer. While I understand the agent was acting on the seller’s instructions, I feel more could have been done to discourage such behavior, as it undermines trust in the process.
Overall, the agent handled the situation professionally, but I’d advise future buyers to be cautious and ensure agreements are honored before committing financially.
