Really happy with the level of service from Alexander Lawrence when selling our house. Andrew and Sam were exceptional throughout the process. I cannot imagine that there are many estate agents that enthusiastically hold your hand through the process, keep you thoroughly informed and answer questions at any time of the day or evening on questions not even related to the sale of your house with them, but with your troubles with purchasing another house that they have nothing to do with. There are not many estate agents that have a well thought through system to sell your house, that’s right system to sell your house, not just a few pictures and let’s see if we can get some punters along! If I had known all of that beforehand, I would not have grumbled about their fees. On that basis, I have no trouble recommending Alexander Lawrence. I just can’t understand why every estate agent is not like them!

Its been a great journey with Alexander Lawrence. I was a bit nervous on “how tos” on buying my first house, but Nick & Sam from AL have been super helpful. Wow. A truly wonderful experience. I have sold over 11 houses, but this was the first time I sold through Alexander Lawrence. They deserve more than 5 stars. They have a truly brilliant system for selling houses - a system that reduces sellers' stress and incredibly enough a way that requires less work from them! A system that in a difficult market generated four viewings on the first day and two full asking price offers. Andrew and Sam were great at communicating at all times throughout the sale. As a former photographer, Andrew was very particular in taking the photos. Sam was great at following up with the mortgage broker and solicitors. They deserve more than 5 stars.

If you are looking for an estate agent, STOP, your search is over. I have used various estate agents for 4 house purchases and sales previously and have always been disappointed with the service received. I don't even think the name 'estate agent' can apply to Alexander Lawrence because they just don't fit that traditional mould. From the moment we met them they have been a cut above the rest. In the current market an accurate valuation is everything and that's exactly what we got. After that the marketing was spot on with amazing photos that resulted in a lot of potential buyers through the door. We loved the option to have one open day of viewings, so handy when you have young children. To have an experienced team on what's app and seemingly available whenever we needed was so incredibly helpful. No waiting for someone to call you back or calling and being told they will ring you back etc, etc then not receiving a call. We always felt like their number one priority. We remained feeling like that throughout the sales continutation process and it was actually only 2 months from accepting an offer to completing on a 4 party chain. That was also due to their recommendation of solicitors who were also superb (again a rarity!) They went above and beyond for our family at every stage. All the team at Alexander Lawrence are superb and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services. What a hidden gem in the world of property. I know they can only go from strength to strength, they really do put their clients at the heart of what they do and that is the key to their success, that and a lot of hard work from everyone across the whole team. We could not be more grateful.

We used Alexander Lawrence to sell our house in summer 2022. Our experience with Andrew and Sam went far beyond expectations. Andrew was particularly brilliant - he took superb photographs which showed the property and its period features beautifully. We recently sold our house with Alexander Lawrence and have been so impressed with the service! Andrew Jolly was fantastic with the sale of our house. He came around and told us how we could show off our house to its full potential, and took fantastic photographs. He also made sure he knew everything about the house for prospective buyers; monthly bills, attic space-whether it’s boarded, damp proofing etc. (No other estate agent we came across with our ongoing purchase was as thorough as Andrew!) The viewings were done on one day and we had lots of offers! Andrew talked through each offer and helped us make an informed decision. He is really friendly, professional and I couldn’t recommend him more highly! Samantha Dunscombe, who managed the sale, went above and beyond for us and we couldn’t be more grateful. We had weekly updates from her as she met with the solicitors, she pushed things forward and chased paperwork. Super efficient and even helped with our ongoing purchase! Actually, if it wasn’t for Sam we may not have got it all through in time. Moving house is daunting, but Andrew and Samantha will go above and beyond to help make the process easier. If you are looking to sell your home I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Andrew & the team from AL. They were with us every step of the way from initial advice on how to present and market to prospective buyers, through to the viewings and securing several proceedable offers. They genuinely know the market and the local area- tellingly we had sold in less than a week whilst other similar properties remained on the market. However, their service doesn’t stop once the sale is agreed. They were always on hand to answer queries from the buyers legal team resolving issues quickly and professionally. Even now with the sale long completed, Andrew has gone above and beyond as a mutual contact to reunite us with wayward post & possessions- that’s a service no online estate agent can do for you!!

Where do I start? Having been registered with a bigger more corporate agency in MK who’s service was quite frankly shocking, we have been blown away by the service and genuine care that Tom and his team have shown us during this process. From our initial meeting where Tom clearly explained his marketing approach and pricing strategy it was clear he knew what he was talking about. He organised professional and more importantly personalised photos of our staged house (think Selling Sunset) and we held a day of viewings as opposed to the more dated constant stream of viewings where you’re given very little notice meaning you constantly needed to keep the house clean not to mention the amount of ‘no shows’ due to the agency not vetting any potential buyer. This viewing day produced a number of offers, all offering above asking price and our house was sold. What makes these guys stand out though is the service you then get during that next phase. Sam, the Sales Progressor is, in my opinion worth her weight in gold. I can’t say enough good things. Professional, friendly, so clued up, keeps her word, works tirelessly to get things done, acts as a complete ‘go between’ between estate agents and solicitors meaning you don’t have to. She basically took an enormous amount of stress off of us during what was at times quite a tricky process due to some complexities in our chain. Basically Sam is brilliant and any agency that doesn’t have a Sam is missing out! We completed this week and it was touch and go if we would but it was only possible because of Toms team. If you’re moving house or thinking of moving, please speak to Tom. There’s no ‘pushy’ estate agent vibe, no pressure, no ‘chat’ or BS…..just proper sound advice and professionalism.
