From the very beginning Andrew Jolly at Alexander Lawrence went above and beyond for us, squeezing us into a full day of viewings for us to have a chance at seeing the house. It was the 16th viewing we'd had over several weeks, and Andrew was by far the most relaxed, friendly estate agent we'd spoken to - not your usual pushy, over-confident type at all. He had full answers and explanations to every question, and knew history about the houses and streets in the surrounding area which was great to learn, and made us fall in love with the house even more. I have no doubt at all that Andrew sprinkled a little bit of good luck into the mix for us to get the house, and from when we had our offer accepted, we were in regular communication with Andrew and Samantha who were great at keeping us updated, and getting excited with us at the different steps of the buying process! I've heard so many stories from family and friends about not being updated during the entire process, which is so daunting as it's the biggest purchase most people will ever make, but I wouldn't have changed a thing about our experience with Alexander Lawrence, all thanks to Andrew and Samantha. They even got in contact with our solicitors weekly and sent us weekly voice notes of what their updates were for us - totally above and beyond. Sorry for the lengthy review, I'm just so relieved that we went through the process of buying our first home with such a brilliant estate agent! If Alexander Lawrence have any flaws, we certainly didn't see them. 10/10!

I highly recommend Alexandra Lawrence to anyone weather you’re looking to sell your property or even buy a property! I sold my two bedroom flat through Alexandra Lawrence back in March 2021 and after a couple of months I was house searching and found the perfect property through Alexandra Lawrence which I moved into back in August 2021. Tommy was brilliant with helping us sell our house after another agent let us down. Despite going through a difficult time with the first lock down, Tommy was still working tirelessly in the background and we sold our house when the market reopened. Tommy’s approach is fair and honest and he really takes his time to understand your needs rather than just trying to get the highest price! His customer service is second to none and we had a lot of laughs along the way despite the impact of the pandemic. We always knew what was going on thanks to Tommy’s updates and brilliant continuous communications. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Alexander Lawrence if I ever feel crazy enough to move again! UPDATE: so as it turns out, we were crazy enough to move again! Once again the service from Tom, Nick and Sam in particular has been amazing, even through the stressful parts! Our house was put on the market on Monday, viewings Saturday and we had 5 amazing offers by the following Monday thanks to the hard work by Alexander Lawrence as a team (shout out to Nick who did the viewings!) Sam’s service has been over and above any other company since agreeing the sale, keeping us updated every week with news from the solicitors (also highly recommend Evolve!) and making sure everything has gone through as smoothly as possible; at no point have we ever worried that we’ve been forgotten about! I have been fortunate enough to reach my 50's without having had to engage the services of an estate agent before as we had sold previous houses on a part exchange basis. Estate agents have some questionable reputations so I sought the advice of a friend who had recently sold his house before finding an agent. I took his advice and engaged with Alexander Lawrence and I am extremely pleased that I did. They firstly valued our house and gave a full report on how they would market the property. They understood when we said we weren't ready to go to market yet but a month later contacted us to say that they may have a potential buyer for our property which could mean that we wouldn't have to go to market. They managed the viewing despite the house not really being presented ready for sale and worked with us on a negotiation process which concluded successfully and quickly. All of this may be just a basic expectation of an estate agent but the communication was very clear and understandable. The entire team were extremely pleasant to engage, especially Tommy & Sam. A WhatsApp group was set up with the agency team and us as sellers where we were regularly updated. However, where we really obtained value was when circumstances became more challenging. We found a house that we wanted to buy and the team put together a report on how they saw the valuation and advised that the property was significantly overvalued. This helped us as we managed to agree a price that was £200k below the asking price! We then hit another challenge when this purchase fell through and our buyers withdrew from the transaction. They presented a creative solution which managed to get the buyers back on board and they then supported us as we looked to find a new property which we are now in the process of buying. We are now working towards this purchase and hope to move in the coming weeks. Moving house can indeed be stressful but working with an agency like Alexander Lawrence certainly helps to keep that stress to a minimum and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone seeking to move house.

We sold our previous property and bought a new one through Alexander Lawrence Estate Agents.Their team members were very friendly and professional and they were not using “hard sell tactics” like other estate agents. Our property was marketed very well and pictures were fantastic!Viewings were well organized and scheduled only for Saturdays so our working day and family life was not impacted.Potential buyers were vetted and only serious buyers were put forward for viewings. We were regularly updated during the whole process through Whatsapp and e-mail and found the whole experience smooth and stress free. Turnaround from putting our house on the market and moving to our dream house was less than two months,with the top asking price achieved on our sold property! I heard great things about Tommy and his company in regards to honesty, professionalism and overall success rate. I made contact and within that week Tommy visited and carried out our valuation, which resulted in us putting our house up on the market, and successfully selling the following week. Not only was it quick- there was never any pressure- Tommy and the team supported us to ensure all was in line and ready, to ensure we got the best possible chance to sell in a timely manner. Nick was very helpful and very supportive during our open house, and managed to not only support our needs, but also allowed us to trust him to do so- right through until Samantha took over. Between Tommy, Nick and Samantha- they kept up posted weekly and worked so hard to ensure we were in the loop and even chased things we needed. We recently sold our property through Alexander Lawrence and based on our experience I would 100% recommend them. The advice they gave us was great when it came to listing the property, the photos were fantastic quality and they condensed all the viewings into one day which made everything so much more convenient for us. Once we had a buyer their Sales Progressor Sam was absolutely fantastic, I'm not sure we would have got our sale through without her help! Thank you to the Alexander Lawrence team, who provided an exceptional service to sell our house from day one. Andrew led the sale supported by Nick. Our house was professionally photographed beautifully as part of an excellent marketing strategy with social media. The turnaround from listing our house to receiving offers was a slick and fast process. Viewings were consolidated into one open day and Andrew vetted each appointment to ensure the potential buyers were proceed-able. This is a great USP compared to other estate agents. We were able to select the buyer that was most suited to our circumstances from multiple offers over the asking price. Our post sale experience from Sam was also excellent and is a further USP when appointing AL. We looked at a few estate agents but decided to go with Tom due to other reviews and recommendations We weren't disappointed and couldn't fault a single thing from the communication which was excellent and proactive to the sale and resulting process .
