I have rented a property through Alan Francis estate agent from April 2015 to October 2016. I have rarely come across such a professional estate agent in UK and need to take time to say "Alan Francis service was outstanding and to the highest standards of renting industry". From the point I viewed the property till the time I moved out, the attention and support provided was brilliant. Whenever there was something to be sorted at the property, they provided service on the same day or next. Overall, I find them to be one of the best professional property management group who stick to the promise they make. Last but not the least, I need to say they have not deducted a penny from my deposit. They are genuine with the check out inventory process. Rented two houses with Alan Francis. The first the landlord seemed a bit more inclined to fix things but Alan Francis couldn’t organise a piss up in a brewery. The second property we were so let down by Alan Francis and the landlord. We reported multiple defects upon moving in and not one was fixed, they asked for us to pay for them to be fixed ourselves and we’re talking about major electrical problems, garage doors falling off, faulty glazing and drainage issues. It took Alan Francis 7 months to organise a plumber to come out and fix the heating, we had no heating over a whole winter. When we moved out they refused to give us our deposit back through an assured tenancy scheme by lying on their paperwork to protect themselves from the landlord. They also recommended a cleaner whom they colluded with to not issue the end of tenancy clean paperwork. They are despicable. They will warm you up, make sure you bite and as soon as you have the keys you are left ignored for months fighting for things to be fixed.

Alan Francis is just wonderful and professional, dealing property could be very painful without responsible agent like them. Alan Francis have just sold my house. The manager Craig Cambridge came to the house to do the valuation he was very polite and it was clear he knew his trade inside out. He offered a good price straight away which I like a lot of other agents started high to try and rip us off. We decided to go ahead and within two hours our house was on right move with floor plans what a service. The staff were very friendly and helpful and always arranged viewings that suited us. Within a week we received our first offer and within two weeks we accepted one we were both very happy with. The staff kept us updated with the progress of the sale and gave us lots of information and advice about the process. I recommended Alan Francis to my sister and they sold her house within a week which she was deligted with

I find them extremely helpful, honest & courteous unlike the vast majority out there. I must emphasis to choose your agent very carefully. After trying to get in touch with them for a whole week to book a viewing for a house they have up for rent, I have been told every single time that they are to busy and they will give me a call back. I have been waiting for that call back but obviously nothing happened so I called them again, just to be told that the house is rented by someone else now and that they are only renting for families with kids.

When the chips are down, you really see what people are made of; Alan Francis (Craig in particular), were pivatol in pushing through the sale of my property under what turned out to be tight timelines, despite an extremley inefficient solicitor. Regular contact, prompt responses and taking action when neccessary, they facilitated the sale of my property to the best of their abilities. Really disappointed with Alan Francis. Asked them to remove my property from the market within my 14 day cooling off period but the house is still on the market.
