I don’t recommend Alan Francis for Renting. They may be good in Selling (not sure because haven’t tried yet)!. Alan Francis plan to take some money out of your advance and it’s fixed. No matter what you tell them as nothing reaches them or listen to you either. They will take you into a Rollocoaster ride and eventuality you give up and pay their demand. I rented a house through Alan Francis. I emptied the house 3 weeks before the end date and asked them to check if anything to be done. They checked and asked me to trim the front garden which I did. After the keys surrendered on the end of my tenure , I got a mail that £235 be deducted towards house cleaning and tub sealant. House had a leakage in the lounge downstairs when It was rented. When called Alan Francis they sent someone to check and repair. The repair guy said that whole tub sealent is not of good quality and needs a complete replacement. And as a temporary fix they applied clear sealant on top of the old one. Of course common sense Mould formed on the gaps later a month. I already informed Alan Francis and they didn’t care. Tub sealant ofcourse would have costed not more than £15. I felt bit funny - when asked about the tub the agent said that I need to wipe the entire tub after every shower :)) Not sure if this is what all do or mentioned in an agreement either. But question remains unanswered WHY it was not said when they have inspected the empty house (with 3 weeks) before the actual tenure end date. Sorry guys it’s a long story but every story has a bad history behind! All I can say to myself is Next time choose a better agent wisely for renting house.

Incredibly understanding of any hiccups we had along the process and accommodated or found workarounds for them. My first impression with Nicky gave some re-assurance that this organisation was professional and also tailored its services to the individuals they deal with. Prompt response if there was ever an issue, explanation given on status of works in progress. Really bad experience. They are the biggest estate agents, but staff working there makes their commission by cheating tenants . They won't return the deposit money back. They will make manipulated invoices and receipts. People who are new to milton keynes beware , because you will be the victims.

Service was brilliant all round from the staff in the office to the agent (Ben) out in the field. We were shown a couple of properties and Ben provided answers to all of questions, was friendly and very easy to talk to. I bought a property via Alan Francis and I am very satisfied with the service I received from the estate agent in particular. I did six viewings via six different estate agents and Alan Francis was the only agent that provided me with a print out of the property details at the time of viewing. That print out is now the only record that I have about the state of the property before I bought it since all details has now been removed from Zoopla after the purchase. In addition, the agent kept regular contact with me via email and phone, and also chased up my conveyancing solicitors regularly. I'm very pleased with that. However, it is important for Alan Francis to work on the wording of the communication when offers made by potential buyers are turned down. I was initially put off by the wording of the email when I made my first offer on the property. It would have been better for the communication to be worded so as to encourage me to make a better offer. We got there in the end and we are all happy, hence my 5 star review. Thank you very much Alan Francis!

I have just bought a house through Alan Francis and it has been the best experience I have ever had dealing with estate agents. Josh produced an impression of a highly knowledgeable and professional agent from day one. He has a particular can-do aura about him which made me feel at ease throughout the entire process. In fact, the whole purchase took less than a month. My offer was accepted and we went on a three-week holiday to come back for an exchange and completion in a week’s time. Having been let down by estate agents and solicitors in the past, I could not be happier. Thank you, Josh and the Alan Francis team. They even gave us a lovely reception when we went to pick-up the keys! Highly recommended.
