Hardworking and approachable

Alex, Leanne and Ollie at Wards Tenterden were a great source of support during our lengthy and stressful purchase. Managing communication between us and our seller, they did a great job of managing expectations and keeping all parties in the loop. Additionally, they also helped keep pressure on other parties involved, agents/solicitor/etc., in the process to help keep those lines of communication open. Lovely House Viewing Experience

Keryn showed us around a beautiful property on Saturday- We were really impressed with her knowledge of the period property and the little less obvious details she pointed out- we were also struck by her genuine nature and very human approach to the showing. It was unusual to have a people-centred outlook shared by an estate agent, so very impressed with this agent. Although the property wasn't the one for us, but the agent really impressed us.

Poor service

To start with, we had to do the majority of our viewings ourselves, as they never had anyone available. Then they recommended a buyer, for less than we wanted. Convinced us they were a good buyer, then after the house was off market for two months we found out the buyer was never in a position to proceed. Didn't have stamp duty. Wards are supposed to vet buyers, that's what we pay them for. Would not recommend.

Walderslade Branch - Buying & Selling

'Time is the most valuable commodity' and a key takeaway from my Wards of Walderslade experience is they are willing to give you as much of theirs as they can. Kenny George (Snr Branch Partner) and Sam Bahia (Snr Marketing Consultant) never put a property forward that did not meet our requirements and always made themselves available to us throughout the buying and selling process. The house hunting road was bumpy , but the quality of service was not and with the additional support and efforts of Keiran Zwolinski and Kim Batchelor we have now found the right home to start our new chapter.

An excellent service with personable staff who completely understood our requirements. We rented an apartment through Maria at the Ramsgate Branch of Wards. Maria made the whole pre-tenancy experience incredibly straightforward - making sure we had all the correct information when we needed it, follow up calls to make sure we understood everything, even a service to set up all the utilities which ensured we were settled in time for Christmas. We even received a moving in gift pack! We've used several letting agents in the past and Wards easily come out on top.

Excellent customer service skills paired with unrivalled knowledge and experience

When I decided to sell my home, I invited 3 different estate agents to visit and provide a quote. I bought the home through Wards almost 5 years before, and my neighbour had recently sold with them so naturally they made the shortlist. What stood out to me about Wards when they visited, was their genuine interest in me selling my property as well as helping me to find my next home. Their fees are a touch higher than their competitors, but don't forget you get what you pay for. My house was sold within 3 days of being on the market - the entire team were great at communicating and liaising with me. Kenny was amazing, he is genuine in his enthusiasm to make you happy and help you on your journey - and he cares about the right decision for you and your family.As amazing as Kenny and the team are, I do however have to make a special mention. The real MVP in my eyes was Kim Batchelor, the Senior Sales Progresser. I remembered Kim from when I bought the property years before as a first time buyer, as she consistently kept me in the loop during a long chain and put my mind at ease, but nothing could prepare me for the long chain of selling and purchasing and the various unforeseen issues that would arise above me in the chain. Kim is an expert in her field, and I have no doubt that the road between agreeing a sale and purchase and completion would have been twice as long if it wasn't for her help. Kim communicated with me almost daily, including texting me when she wasn't working but had heard of updates. Kim was professional at all times, but also extremely friendly and personable. I will forever be grateful for her help in such a busy and stressful time in our life.

Great Service - Sales Progressor Kim Batchelor, Lower Gillingham

I am giving a 5 star review just because our delayed 7 month chain of selling our property and purchasing a new one was a very long, painfully stressful experience as there were multiple issues from our buyers end, however, our Sales Progressor Kim Batchelor (Lower Gillingham branch) made every effort to prioritise our case, constantly chased for updates and she kept us updated throughout. There were many occasions where she was working on her days off, constantly chasing our buyers solicitors, his lender, his mortgage broker etc and it was evident that Kim felt our pain and frustration, felt empathy towards us, and so went out of her way to push things forward with the powers she had. She is also very friendly, positive and enthusiastic over the phone which is always nice. With the stress we experienced, especially with nearly losing our property due to the excessive delays, it made such a difference having Kim on our side, as she clearly takes pride in her role and does it well.Many thanks for your efforts Kim, your persistence and competence contributed towards our sale and purchase EVENTUALLY moving forward to completion!!! I would also like to mention other members of Wards such as Gary Sneddon, Michael and Jenny based in the Gillingham branch, who also made efforts to work on our case and chase the necessary parties when we requested them to do so. They also always called back with an update when they promised they would, so their communication with us was good. Thank you Wards of Kent, I highly recommend their services.
