We used Wards of Kent to sell and buy. They were amazing. In the Gillingham branch Claire, Michael and Kim were fantastic. Kim was there as the sales progressor and without her would have definitely missed out on a great sale.In the Rainham branch Paige showed us our now house and was brilliant at finding the exact house we wanted from our description. Judy was our sales progressor for the purchase and the knowledge and helpful attitude left us always feeling that we knew everything we needed to know at all times.

Amazing customer service!!!

Me and my husband are just days away from completing on our new home. It hasn't been the easiest or smoothest process for us and its taken a lot longer than we first thought, but despite the hurdles we faced in other areas of the buying/selling process, we can't begin to thank Grace from the herne bay branch enough. She has been amazing, answering every query, chasing solicitors constantly for us, keeping us in the loop with everything and overall just making the process that little bit less stressful. Chatham Branch - Oustanding service

What can we say, from the very first meeting completing the valuation, through the viewings and getting an offer Ash, Prince, Tash and the team at the Chatham branch have been outstanding.The chain on our house sale hasn't been the easiest, to say the least, but through Ashley's and the teams above and beyond approach to chasing everyone and more importantly keeping us informed as best as possible. While this process has been stressful, we feel that it could easily have been 1000 times worse or even a chain collapse.So a massive thank you to everyone there and we suppose the best endorsement anyone could give on this kind of service is would we use them again when we move YES without a second thought.

Walderslade office & Kim Sale Co-Coordinator Rainham

Sold our house through Wards. We met with Kenny for the initial valuation and some subsequent viewings and was kept in the loop by Sam throughout the year. Really happy with the service received from them and everyone in the office. Once we sold our property, Kim was outstanding. In a world where online, cheap, and ultimately crap estate agents are being used more, she held everything together for us. She went above and beyond constantly to get to the bottom of problems, essentially doing the jobs the other estate agents and solicitors weren't doing. We cant thank her enough and would definitely go with Wards again in the unlikely event we ever feel we want to go through a house move again!

Recently i had a great oportunity to come across Terri and Shumila at the "Wards - New Ash Green" branch in terms of buying a property. I should admit that they are one of the best agents i have come across. Honestly it was an amazing experience and i would highly recommend them. I was much amazed with the amount of extended support at all times through this clear but lengthy process at each step. The amount of information from Terri and her team was so crisp, precise, meticulous and ensuring alignment to detailed process with relevant updates all through the process. The service from all the staff was excellent and always proactive in ensuring things move in the right direction updating with progress as relevant. I’ve recently moved into a property through Wards and can honestly say the whole process was amazing. This was most in part to Josie Sampson who was our agent looking after us. How should I start this review on my letting agents Mrs. Abi Miles and Mr. Hamid Lone my two brilliant letting agents that I had pleasure to be with them over three years now.My property was rented out 3 years ago and I had the same tenants lived there for 3 years. Altough I expected my managing company to get an increase on the rent every year by a reasnable %, but it did not happened. I eventally turned to my renting agents Mrs. Abi Miles. She immidiately suggested to have an increase of 15% for a new tenant. Her suggestion made my day.Mrs Abi Miles was incredible and very much understanding of my case, so I want to take this apportunity once more to thank Mrs. Abi and Mr. Hamid for thier hard work wishing them the best of luck in the business for years to come.

I can’t recommend and thank Kim Batchelor and the rest of the team for their professionalism throughout our house sale. We sold our house during the first lockdown and out of the 6 properties in the chain the only person that did any work to get the chain progressed was Kim, she worked tirelessly to get our property sold. Had it not of been for Kim the chain would have collapsed and we would have lost our forever house.

Excellent Service from Wards

Jason Pyle (Branch Partner, Rochester) was very helpful and professional in finding us the right property, he kept us up to date and was always happy to arrange viewing times to suit us. Once our offer was accepted Judy Day (Sales Progressor) took over and she was always available to contact and always made sure to phone both solicitors then me back when required. She was very polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Without Judy I am sure the whole process would have taken much longer. USE an independant estate agent - save money and your personal details - GDPR!!

When we looked for an estate agent to sell our family home, we wanted to ensure we instructed a reputable, trustworthy and personal estate agent. We chose Ward as we really liked the marketing aspect, especially the ‘dolly house’ 3D animation and we were assured the ‘personal touch’ comes as standard. This had been our family home, with a huge amount of work and love gone into making it so, and it was important to us that we trusted the estate agent selling our property. On discussing the price for the property initially the advice given by Gary was a figure that we felt was quite low in comparison to what other agents that had been quoted, my partner insisted on a higher figure. In hindsight we potentially could have priced it even higher!Reason im saying this is, as discussed at initial visit, if the price went over what was recommended Ward would get a % in addition to their set fees. After everything was fully completed and sold, upon reflection we felt suspicious as to why the flat was REALLY valued at the initial price, we may be totally wrong,however was this a sales ploy as it makes sense to be able to get additional commission!! After reading below you may understand our reasoning. After the initial visit there was very little ‘personal’ communication. Most of the time we called the office chasing and asking questions rather than being informed directly. Yes, you could see ‘progress’ on the app (which Is where I found out we had viewings booked and offers placed!!) however we stated this at our initial meeting. Communication being a major key aspect and our main reason for not going with a web-based agent as we expected,wanted and had been assured the personal touch/communication would be second to none ! Unfortunatley this was raised with the Gillingham branch, and we were assured they would contact us by phone rather than rely on the app, emails or us chasing for information. To be honest there was limited contact, we felt like a burden rather than a ‘customer’, on more than one occasion the reception on the phone was very frosty and not at all professional in our eyes. (Prince in the branch was always lovely and as helpful as he could be} What we were described is certainly NOT what we got, yes, the flat got lots of viewings and offers, the flat would pretty much sell itself. After one viewing the door was left UNLOCKED, yes accidental, however you put your home into hands of professionals you expect it to be taken care of. Once the offer was going through, we were ‘supported’ by Kim, am not totally sure what Kim did as I often gave her the information and chased the solicitors, however, am sure her role is required. Just before the sale was finalised to our horror, we received an email from Kim (senior sales for Gillingham and Rainham) ASKING to give a 5 star review!!! Not only asking but giving instructions on how to give a 5-star review on TRUSTPIOLT / Ward site and to copy in her bosses in both Gillingham and Rainham branches as well as how to do a review on Google. (SEE BELOW....extracted from email) I read this email utterly shocked, but the worst was the total and utter disregard for GDPR, Kim had forwarded said email with another's customers email attached (this is clearly common practice as the customer was replying to the email we were sent!!! I could read, and if I wanted to contact this other customer of Wards, I do not like the idea of our personal communications being sent out to anyone. We paid £3,912.00 inc.vat for this service, the monies paid out we feel did not reflect the service we recieved at all. If we could turn back time we would certainly had used a different agent who we feel would had better customer experience and more of a personal touch for all reasons stated above. WARD have the marketing advantage but your property will realisticsally sell itself - USE a independant rather than a money grabbing chain.
