Lack of communication a huge disappointment!

Henderson Connellan were initially fantastic when selling my house. They got 15 people to view my property and it SOLD in 1 week. I was delighted. Then I heard very little from them and had to chase them for information. There was no sale progression reports. Thankfully my solicitor kept me informed of events so that on completion, I knew what to expect. As again, no contact from estate agent. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of communication in general and of sale progression from the Estate Agent.

Very pleased with a recent sale Staff efficient, helpful and friendly.

Henderson Connellan, (Market Harborough branch), recently sold my father's bungalow. Everything went smoothly and I feel that it is because all the agents knew the latest situation regarding the property, rather than have just one named person dealing with it.. Any queries I emailed or phoned them about, staff were instantly listening and, if they said that they would come back to you, they DID! That is rare for people to do that these days! Would definitely recommend this Estate Agency..

I asked for a valuation on my property by 3 estate agents. Tom Cheshire came to value my property. I had no doubt when I met Tom and heard his highly professional approach to marketing my house, who I should use. Tom produced four draft brochures before the final one was approved. It was outstanding. My house went on the market on the Tuesday, by the Following Saturday an offer of the full asking price had been made and which I accepted. Clearly the local leader, very efficient, always courteous and very professional.

This is the second time I have used Henderson Connellan and I'm sure it will not be the last. Tom is a keen member of the sales team and will do everything to help you secure the deal. He is always prepared to arrange as many visits as you feel is needed, In terms of the aftersales, where people always tend to get frustrated (once the solicitors get involved), and believe me I did.. Abby came into her own and was probably the most patient and helpful member of an estate agents I have ever dealt with and almost certainly went up and beyond of what is probably expected. All the team at Henderson Connellan Market Harborough provided an excellent service throughout the sale process of my property; from the initial valuation through to the completion of my property. I was particularly impressed with the professionalism and efficiency from all the staff. Patience, tenacity and integrity

This would have been 5 stars if it were not for the protracted transaction time although this was entirely due to the inconsistency and unreliability of the buyer and their representative whose behaviour was exasperating for most of those concerned. Abby Bulley (Sales Progression) was on the other hand a breath of fresh air and frankly without her drive, tenacity and patience this transaction would never have been successfully completed. I was particularly impressed with Abby's speed of response and complete reliability, in a transaction where, in the end, minutes not hours proved crucial This was a difficult balancing act where differing personalities and agendas required handling with diplomacy. How important it is to have complete trust in someone who is handling one of the biggest emotional and financial transactions of your life. Thank you Abby for your support it is greatly valued. Amazing service from start to finish

Having been an estate agent myself in the past, I know what to expect when selling a property and have found Henderson Connellan to offer a truly great service throughout. I was initially impressed with the valuer Tom, who ensured that the team came around to familiarise themselves with the house first, we very quickly got interest and sold on the first viewing. After which Abbey was great in working with myself and the rest of the chain to ensure that we successfully got through to exchange of contracts - despite some of the challenges this threw up. Every aspect of a complicated sale exceeded expectations

For many years we had dreamed of moving to West Wales. This October we decided the time was right to give it a try. We have moved many times before so were very aware of potential problems especially trying to co-ordinate sale and purchase, moving 200 miles away. We saw 5 estate agents and chose Tom from Henderson Connellan in Market Harborough. He was easily the best prepared of the people we saw and we felt confident he would do a good job. The particulars Henderson Connellan produced were beautiful and against our expectations Tom and his team found a buyer for our Victorian house just before Christmas. We were then supported by Abby through the sale process. This was not easy, but Abby's polite persistence helped complete the transaction and we moved to Wales last Tuesday. Before instructing Henderson Conellan we had a pretty dim view of estate agents. The whole team at Henderson Connellan challenged our predjudices. They always returned our calls, made sure messages were passed on and were well prepared and informed. They achieved a good price for our property and helped us see it through to completion. The Only Agent you will ever need!

Contracts exchanged completion in sight!! Never an easy process but one which was made so much more bearable by the incredible service delivered by Henderson Connellan. This agent seems to have worked out the importance of regular and clear communication along the 'chain' associated with most transactions. So often agents seem to lose interest once an offer has been made but with the, very capable Abby, keeping everyone in the picture and smoothing things out a successful result was ensured. You get what you pay for

Last year was a busy one for the family selling houses, with both my wife and I and our eldest daughter moving house. Our experience with the agents in Harborough was a mixed one from outright unprofessional to absolutely exceptional and Hendersons were the agent at the exceptional mark. The sale of our property handled by Hendersons was smooth, a buyer was introduced within days, our purchase, through a different agent was also relatively easy, strangely though because Hendersons did the chasing for us as the agent we were buying through was simply not interested once the sale had been agreed and stated that it was not his job to follow up on anything even though as we all know a house move is not a move until completion. My daughter also moved last year, however her move was not so smooth, they used the same agents as us but in reverse as they bought through Hendersons. Again Hendersons were exceptional and I genuinely believe my daughters move would not have gone through if it wasn't for the fact that Hendersons have a star in the making in Holly Smith who undoubtedly went beyond the call of duty to make everything happen ably assisted by Abby who with her continuous chasing and updating of the chain went where other agents were ether unable or unwilling to go. David and Tom you have a great team there in Harborough and in my opinion you have the number one negotiator in town in Holly Smith, look after her!!! We did get quoted slightly lower fees elsewhere, however the old adage 'you get what you pay for' is certainly applicable here. Regards David

The whole team has worked extremely hard arranging numerous viewings, dealing with offers and acting as negotiators when things were not going smoothly. I have to say how thoroughly impressed I was with Holly smith at Henderson Connellon when purchasing our house! The purchase had proved to be difficult from the start but holly never gave up. She was always in contact with me and even went out of her way, out of her working hours to chase people and keep me up to date on the situation! If it wasn't for holly we would never have gone through with buying our new home as the stress just would have been too much!! Abby was also absolutely brilliant, and so helpful helping us through the rest of the process once the sale had been agreed!! It was a huge relief to me that Abby took control of pushing my purchase through and chased continuously for updates and news from the concerned parties. When we went to Henderson Connellan we were greeted by Holly Smith. We were seeking a specific type of property in a specific area and we visited all of the agents in Market Harborough. Professional, hardworking and supportive. Just what you need!

We sold and purchased our properties through Henderson and Connellan and we were really impressed with the service provided from start to finish. All the staff were really helpful, from David coming to do the initial valuation, Holly did a sterling job with the viewings - both selling and purchase, and Abby looking after us once the sale and purchase had been agreed,. They were very supportive and helped us out with any queries and issues that came up, they really did work hard. A special word of thanks should go to Abby who did a great job even when my stress levels were starting to rise, she was excellent at getting things resolved as quick as possible, a bit of a unsung hero in the back office!.
