How refreshing to have finally found a professional, friendly and reputable letting agency. At a time when the rental market in Manchester is pretty brutal, I feel very lucky to have found We Let Properties. Katie (who was just lovely) helped me secure my dream flat when I was starting to lose hope. Her and team have restored my faith, that there are infact Letting Agencies out there who care. Katie, Alicia, Emma, Wayne and Tracy all deserve special mentions, for their friendly, personable, warm easy manner and professional approach. I have been working with Wayne and his team at We Let Properties for many years now and they have never failed to impress. Wayne has a lot of knowledge about the industry and does give the right advice every time. They provide an excellent service to us landlords and the tenants too. Recently Emma achieved a fantastic rent return for one of my properties without me having to worry about any of the renewal/referencing process etc - very pleased with their service. When you see all the good reviews are from house viewing and all the bad reviews are from former tenant, you know where they choose to make an effort. Worst realtor I have ever dealt with. Choose them if you want to be ignored, offended and misguided. If you are considering working with them, don't. If you already signed the contract, then a word of advice, don't use the cleaning service they recommended for check out. We don't like the whole experience, but at the time of moving out, we think it might be of help to ask the professional, so we asked the agency to recommend a cleaning service. Our realtor, Tracy, gave us a contact number for Kevin, who at first told us there's no time slot available for cleaning before the end of our tenancy (we asked at least a month before the moving out date) however, he managed to give us a slot one day after our tenancy was over, which would inevitably make us late, but he promised that he had talked with Tracy and it is ok. As he is recommended by Tracy, we believed him. One week before the cleaning, I emailed Tracy to check will the late returning of the keys result in additional charges. From past experience working with them, I understand fully the necessity of keeping a written document. To my surprise, Tracy said firmly that any late return of keys will cause additional charge, and when I confronted her that the cleaning-service-she-recommended said otherwise, her response was "I don't have to communicate about the charge with a third party." And when I asked why didn't she discuss it with us tenants, she said "I'm discussing with you now." She said that on a phone call, I initiated, to double check the information. Once she hung up, she sent me a bill for late returning of the keys when there are still four days before my tenancy ended. Her attitude is both rude and unprofession, so I told her there's no way I'm going to pay that, and if Kevin can't perform the task, we will seek other cleaning company. You know what, after we said that, Kevin is suddenly available. He booked us in a cleaning session one day earlier than the original booking, and the so-called "4 to 6 hour deep clean" only took less than 2 hours. If I didn't check with Tracy in email, I would have to pay for an expense no one noticed me of, and it is all because Kevin and Tracy's story didn't add up. If you hate someone, recommend them this service.

Honestly would really not recommend using this company. Maintenance issues that are reported are not dealt with and pushed back to oneself. As you can tell by the masses of reviews, your deposit will not be returned for as long as possible, and if you do manage to get it back, they will deduct hideous amounts of money for very minor reasons/any excuse possible. Some of the staff are nice but as soon as you become a tenant with them, they will go against you. There is (many) a reason why We Let Properties Google reviews rating is so low. Numerous better alternatives in Manchester.

We’ve been dealing with this company for at least 10 years now. The company is acutely aware that their clients are both tenants and owners. They put in a great deal of effort to insure both owners and tenants are supported. As an owner we respond straight away to our agents requests for repairs etc. Welet then take action. It’s a formulae that has worked well for many years. We find them very professional and a great asset. Without them we couldn’t work. Letting is by no means an easy business. Not something one should attempt alone. We’ve had some excellent tenants and one or two unfortunate tenants that could not have been envisaged. Welet’s professional approach and their long-standing experience makes a huge difference to our life. I highly recommend that you have someone of this caliber and experience at your side.

I have a rental apartment in Manchester and have been with We Let Properties for quite a few years now after a disastrous time with another company and I must say that Wayne and his team are brilliant. They really do go out of thier way to sort out any issues that I may have. With the cladding crises that has been going on there has been much communication between myself and the tenants and they have always made me feel so much more at ease. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they always respond efficiently and courteously to any problem I may have. Every member of the team we have spoken to have been very friendly, helpful and professional in sorting our application. When processing our application for the property Emma and the team have been very helpful and kept us updated regularly throughout the process. They have gone above and beyond to rush this process for us so we can get the keys as soon as possible. I could not recommend WLT enough and they have put my mind at ease after such a poor experience in our previous property. I really do not understand the negative comments and if you see the dates you can see that we were in the middle of a pandemic, So surely you can't judge them for that period! This company was recommended to me from friends who also use them and have for over 5 years and have never had a problem with them.
