GoogleDO NOT RENT FROM PHILIP JAMES. They have one person for customer service, who will ignore all enquiries. They also have no communication whatsoever. We have been told to vacate our flat with no notice, and threatened with charges if we are not able to vacate on time. Completely unprofessional and useless.

GoogleThe service, response to your email, and giving out information over the phone all have been poor, slow and misleading. And no apologies offered for the slow service. I will definitely recommend all the landlords to think twice before entrusting their property to them... very very and extremely poor service..

GoogleFRAUD !!!!!! Very very very very baad company lies about reserving properties and give them to their friends and family instead absolute corruption, scamed me for my deposits absolute fraud would not recommend it in a 100 years to anyone stay far away as possible from these frauds !!!!!!!!!!!!

GoogleHundreds of calls and emails to this company and no response, just pass you round in circles. Maybe if they didn't have the staff to deal with the number of properties they have, they shouldn't take on so many. Disgrace.

GoogleThe worst agency I’ve ever come across!! They lie, cheat and try to rip you off left and right. Been emailing for maintenance well over three months with them delaying it till I left the property and now they’re trying to deduct it from my deposit! A bunch of unprofessional and unethical people!!

GoogleWarning Victoria mill stockport... landlord is a complete idiot went through the whole processes and then says he's only doing a 6 month lease... 2nd person he's done that too now... yet the advert show long tenancy.... the staff are helpful... i would stay clear of the property

My housemates and I could not have been more disappointed with the whole letting experience.It took us over 6 months to receive our deposit back - the deductions to our deposit were absolutely extortionate!Would have given it 0 stars if I could have.

I am pleased with my decision and if you want a helpful, friendly, easy sale I would have no hesitation in recommending Philip James

GooglePhoned them twice about 2 apartments left a message both days they never got back to me. Even if the flats had gone i would have thought a call to tell me. Will not be using this company again

GoogleGreat viewing, I think they're one of the only Agents that still give you a good Brochure with all the information you need. The team in sales made sure there was no radio silence throughout the sale and kept me up to date. If I eventually sell my new apartment, it'll be with Philip James!

GoogleWould not recommend to deal with this agency based in Manchester city centre as customer service experience I've got today was at the lowest level, considering the fact I came into their office to make a deposit and came out with a strong feeling to find another apartment with another, more pleasant agency. Highly NOT recommended.

Absolutely disgraceful. They never come at your aid when there is an issue with the house. They ask for tons of money if you would like to terminate the contract prematurely (even if you give them 1-2 months notice).Absolutely disappointed, avoid at all costs

GoogleAs a new tenant I found the team very proactive and helpful. The paperwork was explained in detail and was processed very professionaly. Each step was explained in detail and in a way in which I found to be easy to understand. The time element was quicker than expected, which was of great relief.

GoogleThey do not respond to viewings requests booked via their website. They do not answer the phone. Not really sure how they are still about to be honest, I guess they do not want to sell properties.
Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
