GoogleVery poor service, particularly by a guy called James. The staff are very dismissive in general. I sent a complaint through the post and it magically "appeared" only after I emailed the manager asking if it had arrived. The absolutely crazy fees show just how money-grabbing this company really are. Would never rent with them, definitely one to avoid.

GoogleTerribly unorganized and really not friendly on the phone. I was waiting at the place to view a property when i was told my viewing will be cancelled because the agent being late and he will go straight to see the next scheduled appointment. Later, before the rescheduled viewing, it was cancelled again in a rather unfriendly way.

GoogleI tried this agency in Wolverhampton, and i have to say I have never had such horrible service in my life. First they took first months rent twice, then it took about 4-5 months to get it back. I wonder how on earth they become no 1 letting agency in UK. I would suggest never use their service.

GoogleThe woman I talked to on the phone was unhelpful and her tone gave the impression that she couldn't care less about what she was doing. I got the impression that she was trying to put me off the properties I was inquiring about. Overall, it was a terrible service and I wouldn't hurry to contact them again!

GoogleEmailed, left voicemails, must have called like 20 times over 2 days trying to get in touch and not once did anyone pick up the phone. Haven't had an email reply or a call back. Super frustrating.

GoogleAWFUL! When you do get a reply, and that is rare, they will send you a video on whatsapp without any introduction/hello/information on what it is. When you ask for more info they simply reply 'no'- Worst customer service I have experienced from a lettings agent and that is quite hard! Avoid

GoogleI have used this company for several years to fully manage my properties. I found out they were charging me for unnecessary work. They were defensive and unopologettic when challenged. The Dont use these deceitful crooks.

GoogleI've edited this review because Julie contacted me to acknowledge by comments, which was, in fairness, very professional and very much appreciated from my side. But overall, I did unfortunately have a fairly negative experience with Martin & Co. The extra star is for how the leaving process was handled and the follow-up call.

GoogleThis branch of Martin & Co have been managing the rental of our apartment in Manchester since 2007, so for 8 years now. Initially they were just starting up and didn't get things right all the time, despite being keen and hardworking. However, now that they are established and have sufficient experienced and very capable staff, they are brilliant!

GoogleBasically called the agency regarding a property, been told that they only need someone who could move in within next 7-10 days, then hang up. The person on the phone was very rude, did not even let me finish my words. Very unprofessional service. Would give them negative feedback if I could.

GoogleTerrible service. They booked a viewing with us and we travelled from the outside of Manchester to be here. They called us 5 minutes before the viewing to cancel it and just said they couldn't do anything about it and if I wanted to change the time. Not even an apology.

GoogleThey are not good at all; some staff can be rude when you have a problem with the rent property and they really don't care once the contract has been signed. In my opinion, the team could be relatively young and require professional training in both property knowledge and customer service.
