Hi Will, We note that your review relates to an overseas purchase via our office approximately 10 years ago. We appreciate there was an issue after the development was launched. Our office looked into this and were advsied initially that protests and national holidays in Thailand at the time had impacted on the construction progression. When updates ceased from the developer our office paid for a solicitor in Thailand to act for the purchasers on this development. We advised buyers that this solicitor would act for them to build a case against the developer. The solicitors’ details were passed onto all buyers and we have not had any communication from either yourself or the other buyers with regards to the outcome over the last 9 years. Dear Richard, We are extremely sorry to read your negative review, especially considering you have bought numerous properties through us previously that, to our knowledge, you are happy with. In response to the problem you have intimated at in the review, we acknowledge that there was an issue which you raised with us internally that we attempted to assist you with. You then pursued it further through the Property Ombudsman, which ruled partially in your favour. The Ombudsman did make the point though that your solicitor was responsible for the main part of the issue, which is not something that we feel we can be held accountable for.

Dear Ian,We appreciate and share your frustration with the situation on your latest purchase. You completed on your last purchase with our office in July 2020 and the issues currently being faced have arisen directly from the new Freeholder/Management Company. They have not met some of their obligations which is now directly affecting the Leaseholders. You have worked with our office since 2014 and I can assure you that neither our office nor our seller’s walk away from situations that they have authority over. The matter that you refer to is out of the control of both Knight Knox and the seller but we are both actively working towards a resolution. The seller has been doing their very best to remedy the issues directly with the new Freeholder who has been uncooperative. As such the seller has taken legal advice and is acting accordingly. We understand your concern but the seller knows the action they are implementing will work and we ask that you revaluate the position in the next 3 months.
