Over three months have passed since we concluded our contract with Housr, yet we're still awaiting our refund of nearly £500 for unused utilities.Initially, Housr assured us the refund was in process and would be in our hands within 7, 10 days, but despite numerous follow-ups, nothing has been sorted out. As students, this sum is considerable for us, and the lack of clarity and responsibility has been extremely exasperating.We opted for Housr due to its appealing advertisements, but this experience has let us down. It's unacceptable for a company to delay refunds for such an extended period, especially after giving written confirmation of payment.We would advise other students or tenants against choosing Housr!

Overall Experience is good would recommend, the bills are slightly higher than others but it's all in package so they will sort everything out for you. Everything is sorted quickly, customer service is fast to respond also. They have discounts on shops and free coffee every week as well but one household only have 3 free coffee quotas.

AVOID THIS SERVICE!!! When I sought details about the billing package, they called me. We ultimately chose not to proceed. To my surprise, months later they alleged that a 'verbal contract' had been made during that call, attempting to charge me a £120 cancellation fee. They even tried to change my contract with the supplier we had selected, which required my intervention to stop! I had to request call transcripts (which they only partially provided) and seek legal counsel before they finally agreed to drop the charges after weeks of back-and-forth emails. This is a complete trap for students! Avoid at all costs!!!

TrustpilotScam: Won't even reply to emails regarding deposit return
I vacated their bangalore duckworth site in July 2024. It has been over 5 months and they still have returned my deposit of 57k. When I initially contacted them they kept telling me to email 2 of their regional managers. I have tried emailing them many times and I have been completely ignored. They even sent an invoice for "repairs and maintenance" 2 weeks after I left (which I paid), but after that complete silence. They have no available information on how to contact any form of support regarding issues on their website or their app. All their website offers is support on how to make bookings and give them more money. Every attempt to solve this issue is always met with disrespect and dishonesty.

Reduced our broadband speed from 1000mbps to 220mbps without communicating with me, delayed my broadband installation without communicating with me, whilst charging me the same rate for far worse broadband 455% worse broadband to be exact. Done this with ZERO communication.

The app is so easy and useful to use. Being able to find house mates and a house all on one app makes the whole house hunting process so much smoother, taking away any anxiety about not being able to find a house! Having profiles, and ability to chat to potential house mates takes pressure off finding housemates on external sites etc.

Really Loved and Trusted Housr from the beginning. The Package they provided and The service they have given me is unbelievable. Because other providers were after money. And Housr were after Customers need. I would choose Housr Always.

Easy to use, some good perks, and good customer service. Issue is that they’re charging well over the odds - guess you’re paying a premium for the simplicity. Had some issues with the wi-fi early doors but they managed to sort it (took a few months tho)

They don't refund the security. You will need to chase for long but will not get the refund of security.

Hi Shivam, We believe you've left this review on the wrong page. At Housr, operating in the UK and USA only, we do not take security deposits or have CCTV recordings. Angus was SUPER lovely, clear and helpful! We’ve just set up a package for September and he was amazing over the phone. Obviously haven’t experienced much of the company as of yet but as aforementioned, the customer service was 10/10.
