As a first time buyer (and buying alone), I was a bit clueless to the whole “buying a property” process (which I’d assumed would be long and horrific). However, with Hills this wasn’t the case. Everyone tried their best to make things simple; they were very communicative and helpful at all times. They always explained things clearly and tried their best to find solutions! Huge shout out to the guys at Hills who recently sold our house, the whole team were so approachable and always available to answer our questions. We did previously have our house on the market with someone else so when we spoke to Hills we were slightly sceptical about changing agents, but now in hindsight wish we had done it sooner, as I am sure we would have moved quicker.

After having used Purple Bricks who were absolutely shocking do not touch with a barge pole! We then used 2 other agents. Finally after much heartache, we chose Hills. We had more viewings and more communication with them. I have to say Rebecca Nicholson was my preferred contact so I kind of appointed her my go to for all communication. Hills sold our home within 2 months of going to market. I would highly recommend. All staff are polite and professional.

Ok when selling your home, once its sold they aren’t interested, no feed back, passed from pillow to post as the buyer was stalling, all information given was false, house was packed up in a van outside & still no contract was signed by the buyer, which we were told has been done 4 days previous, then no one turned up at the house to pick keys up, dropped them at the office in eccles to be told half an hour later they had no keys & I was over 20miles away going to my new house, absolutely no communication between people in the office, so held the buyer of our house getting the keys!! Joke of an organisation

Edit after their reply: love how they have the audacity to twist things around to make it look like I’m in the wrong and mention they called three times. They probably should have mentioned the called me thrice AFTER I posted this review, literally within a few minutes of me posting this review (possibly cause their laziness and negligence has been caught and they wanted to try to save face before replying here?) twice of which I declined and the third time I picked up to let them know I am no longer interested in speaking to them and then hung up. Also loving how they feel the need to separate sales from rentals - my comment was a general one about how my experience has been bad with both, as they just don’t seem to want to do the job they are being paid for. Martin incase you need clarification on what that is, that is to assist potential tenants/buyers when they come to you with genuine interest to rent/purchase. And not play the blame game. Original review: Possibly one of the worst estate agents I’ve come across in Manchester, and that says a lot considering there are agencies like Thornley Grove that operate in the area. I was initially looking to rent and sent a few inquires for different properties and they would always come back and ask me to fill out a long/not easily editable document with my details, which I would do each time. Only for them to never come back to me with a viewing or any contact really. This happened each time for 4-5 different queries. After I fill in their lengthy/difficult form each time they’d never have the decency to arrange a viewing or give me any update. Fast-forward a month I decide I’m going to purchase instead of rent, unfortunately a property I like is listed with them. I request a viewing a couple times, after which they come back via email to let me know they aren’t able to contact me, I share my number again so they are able to call, only for them to come back and insist they won’t give me a call and if I’m interested I can call them. Honestly such a waste of time. If you’re looking to buy/rent, definitely avoid. If you’re looking to sell, I’d seriously consider someone else as it seems like they’re not interested in doing the job they’re paid for.

Be very careful. They waste your time asking you to fill in a form and then you get the same answer for all properties. That due to high interest viewing is not possible and you can secure the property after looking at the videos. So even a what's app or facetime viewing is never possible. After my review they contacted me and tried to tell me it was not them but another agency supposedly. But the adres is the same. And when I replied to their email to enquire about this they simply ignored me because I had deleted the review.
