GoogleI followed WingYan to view flat in Manchester a few times. He is a very professional agent, I noticed that each time before viewing, he already researched the details of the property, so he always had answers on hand whenever I asked questions. This might not sounds too special but I really came across a lot of agents who can't even answer some simple questions. Wing Yan not even had done his research beforehand about the flat, he always arrive early at the time of appointmet. As he will view the environment or even go inside the flat, if already vacant, first before the client arrived. This shows that he is genuine, proactive and well prepared. If there is anything not too perfect about a property, he will let you know, he won't just say the good points and hide away the bad ones. There is always some good points or bad points about a particular property, so he will lay them all out for clients to make their own judgment, he will not force you in making abrupt decision. One other unique difference about him compare to other estate agents is that, he would inform you of other possible properties that might suit you in the market. There is no need to actively look for the next one to view anymore, as he will let you know, when the next suitable one arise. Overall it is always a pleasant experience viewing property with Wing Yan, and I think for people of his personality, he could easily build trust and long term relationships with clients.

They delivered on a buyer incredibly quickly and were so thorough and professional throughout the full process. Communication was also 5 stars! Michael with the lettings team was also incredibly helpful in looking for my next apartment - I would recommend them to everyone, their company ethos is excellent!

GoogleI recently viewed a property with Goodwin fish in manchester. They were extremely helpful in accommodating my request, and despite the date change, it seemed effortless for Josh and the team to organise. I met with Josh who was knowledgeable on the area and property, but what really surprised me was his approach. Rather than take the classic sales stance, he simply educated me on the flat and took time to answer all my inquisitive questions. Although this is my first encounter with Goodwin, their diligent communication and informative style made for a very pleasant viewing.

GoogleThe amount of help I’ve received from Alannah at Goodwin Fish is beyond outstanding! I don’t remember the last time I’ve done a google review but From her prompt email replies, to going the extra mile from the kindness of her heart I felt it was wrong not to! To say that she made everything flow smoothly would be an understatement… I definitely recommend anyone and everyone to use Goodwin Fish and especially through Alannah, you’ll be in good hands.

GoogleEverything went well at first and the person who showed us the flat was very nice.However, I left the flat almost two months ago and I haven’t received my deposit back yet, even though they said everything was fine. I sent them multiple emails and they never replied.

Hi Paula Thank you for your review. As you are aware, you have exchanged tenancy with another person. This has meant that The Deposit Protection Service required time to do the relevant checks needed to change your half of the deposit into the new flat mates name. Unfortunately this is out of our hands. We have made you aware of the process throughout.

GoogleI had wanted to move out of my flat for 5 years. With the building affected by the cladding scandal it was something I thought was impossible. I was recommended Goodwin Fish by a friend who sold through them 4 years ago. I didn’t want to put the property on RightMove or other sites and only wanted adverts on their own website. Alex was realistic with me and happy to manage the advertising how I was comfortable. It took a while but they achieved the impossible and found a cash buyer which allowed me out. They turned up for viewings on time, conducted them professionally and was respectful at every point. I have recommended Goodwin Fish to my old neighbours as even though their rates are slightly higher than other agents, it is 100% worth it. Thank you Goodwin Fish, you’ve honestly changed my life by selling my flat.

Google3 years on and I've just sold another flat via Goodwin Fish. I've been in the property industry myself and I use them to manage and to sell my apartments. That says enough how I rate them. This time, Alex, Joshua, and Sam have done a great job again. Found a buyer for me real quick. Even had buyers fighting to bid up the price I initially listed for. Reasonable fees esp. considering this! Always prompt in replying. Definitely will use again and recommend. ========================================== (3 years ago)Ian was very efficient and attentive when I was selling my flat, making sure the communication between solicitors and both me and the buyer was smooth all the time and moving forward. It was a highly satisfactory selling experience.

GoogleI have had a fantastic experience with Goodwin Fish so far. When I started looking for flats to rent in Manchester, I found many estate agents were difficult to contact via phone or email. I found Goodwin Fish were the exception to this, as they have been easy to contact since our first interaction. I originally spoke to Nicole in the Lettings Department, who I found to be helpful, personable and proactive. Before our first phone call had even ended, she had sent me a list of properties they had available which met my needs, including the flat I ended up renting. The contrast between her and other estate agents I have dealt with cannot be understated. I viewed two properties with her colleague, Antunes, who was also personable and extremely helpful. Since the beginning of my tenancy, I have also dealt with Nicola and Ian in Property Management, who have also been very proficient. The paperwork, Schedule of Condition and other pre-move-in tasks were completed professionally and without cutting any corners, which was reassuring. After moving into the flat, I found a few minor maintenance issues, which I reported. Ian sent out work orders to contractors before 10:00 the next working day, which was very impressive given that I reported the issues on a Saturday afternoon. Indeed, this was reassuring, as it showed the high quality service I experienced when looking for a flat to rent continued after I had started renting my flat. So far, my experience with Goodwin Fish has been overwhelmingly positive. I would recommend them to anyone looking to rent a property in Manchester, without hesitation!

GoogleGoodwin Fish & Co Manchester UK The selling of my flat Wharf Close Alex and Sam bounced into my life in late December 2022 I instantly , on sight , saw the energy and charisma that Alex's personality displayed and that big smile from both Alex and Sam that set me at ease. And at no point has he let me down. He came in and instantly pointed out all the positivity in my flat , which i all ready felt. He filled me with confidence on the fact this was a man that knew how to sell my flat. Very professional people at all times. I have in the past met many an agent who treats selling just another job and come to your place not knowing a thing about it and do nothing to help sell it. That is not the way to sell a place. When you invite an agent round to view your place and to price . He must fill you with confidence. Christmas and New year was in the way so I consider my flat went up for sale on the 1st of January it was sold by the 3rd. All through this process Alex has been at hand supporting me, keeping me informed, asking am i happy etc etc. At no point was I not able to contact him at no point did he not take my call or answer my email. What more do you want!!!!!!! The only other Agent in the past that I admired was Ian Chatburn. It was him that recommended Alex. Thank you Ian, Alex and Sam. Hilary
