Unfortunately, i read these reviews quite late and I am in agreement with all the negative opinions about Bridgfords Withington. We tried to buy a flat, but when we told them that we have our own mortgage advisor, the communication stopped. When we tried to get updates, they would try to discourage us to continue. They went on making an offer for our maximum budget, despite only having 1 additional buyer who offered 25k less than us. Dishonesty/ lack of transparency and totally unprofessionalism, especially Richard/ Hammad. I am happy I did not use their services, and I now select properties which are not in their portfolio. Quite sure the seller has received a lower offer as well, which is a shame as the flat was superb. Avoid!

Although this no fault of Bridgfords it was a very long drawn out process, the team were consistent, communicative and responsive. The team at Bridgefords Estates Agents in Withington have been so efficient and helpful in assisting me with renting one of their properties. Ruari came round to value the house as we are still deciding whether we are ready to move. Although we have decided now is not the moment, Ruari was helpful, personable and informative. I can say that I will definitely be contacting Bridgfords when we do come to sell in 18-24 months. Just sold our house through Bridgfords and could not be happier. They offered fantastic value for money and were worth every penny we spent on them to see us through to completion. David began the process with a valuation that was both professional and personal and Richard oversaw the sale from there on. Communication at all stages was excellent and we felt incredibly well guided and supported by Richard throughout the process. I initially did not have a great experience with Bridgeford. No updates from them and when I did ring I would get passed around and wouldn't get much information on progress. But Sadaf changed that. She was professional and kept me up to date every step of the way. There were few hiccups down the line with the tenants and seller but she really made the experience stress-free and easy! This is the first time I have used Bridgfords Lettings in Withington and I have been dealing with Jessica and Isabelle. I have been very impressed with both Jessica and Isabelle. They are excellent! They secured tenants for me within a relatively short period of time. I felt that they really went out of their way to support me. Within a very short period of time, they built a very good relationship with me and I attribute this to their excellent interpersonal skills. I plan to work with them for some of my other properties and look forward to building a long term relationship with them. Thank you Jess, thank you Izzy!! I have recently bought a property with Bridgfords in Withington and I have dealt mainly with Sian. Overall, I have found the service both professional and friendly. Sian has kept me informed at all stages and has been pro active in dealing with some of the issues which were unforeseen. What I have appreciated the most is the “none pushy” approach by Bridgfords. There have been some delays with the completion; however, I was never pressurised in anyway and Sian remained supportive at all times.I would not hesitate to purchase additional properties through Bridgfords and would definitely recommend them for their excellent service. The service received during this process was very nice. There was good communication, starting from the viewing until the moving into the property. **Updated since new property manager** Rebecca, Senior Property Manager, has been really great to work with and always promptly responds to our emails, following up with polite and friendly phone calls if there is any delay from our end/to update us on issues. Issues are now resolved more quickly and we are kept in the loop with reasons if there are any delays. Old review for info: The Lettings team in Withington were really lovely, accommodating and friendly. However, the property management team that take over once you are inside the property have not been the best. Our property was not ready for move-in at the time we had agreed which was disappointing. There have been several change overs of staff with little to no handover of what is happening with the property which can be frustrating. There can also be quite a delay in hearing back from the team when issues are raised.

Branch staff good, conveyancing beyond horrendous

Started the journey of selling my flat with Bridgfords well, great listing, quickly found a buyer, then Bridgfords conveyancing service took over and was incompetent at every turn. 6 months on from accepting an offer I’ve had to end the sale as my mental health couldn’t handle anymore of the misleading, lies and gaslighting from their conveyancers. Was so bad even the branch staff said they were embarrassed at how bad it was.

If I could put 0 I would. My cousin gave notice that he was giving up the flat due to family and health issues. Before he was able to remove his things (within a week) they have taken his belonging and given only some clothing back. They have stolen a family air loom watch (Rolex) , cash that was for Christmas, not given back any expensive trainers .. they have drip fed some things back since like the tvs and yet to receive the Xbox, they have photos of his stuff on their report which they haven’t given back. They are not to be trusted . They are proceeding to trade non ethically and illegally. Reports to police have been made. They prey on vulnerable people

Recently, an excellent service has been provided by the Lettings Manager and his team. As a tenant, I feel like my needs are taken in to consideration and that I am a valued customer.
