About Ascend Properties Manchester
Welcome to an independently-run, independently-minded estate and lettings agency. Ascend was founded on the belief that estate agents could do a lot better. We’d been working in the industry for a long time and were frustrated that most agencies were just so ordinary. Like their houses, these places were in need of a new lick of paint. Bit of rising damp in the basement too. So we decided to build our own home. This new home wasn’t made of sticks or straw. It was founded on a deep-rooted, decade-long knowledge of Manchester, from the very bricks and mortar of the city centre to its outer reaches. By a team of savvy individuals who loved the city and loved helping people invest, move and live in it. A team of quick thinkers and good listeners who did that rare thing: treat customers like people instead of transactions. Because they knew great service wasn’t just about experience and expertise. We had one philosophy: to keep the promises we made. Then we opened the doors. Welcome to Ascend. We’re built on higher standards.

GoogleCouldn't even be bothered turning up for the viewing after changing it themselves on the day. No response as to where the guy was or why they didn't turn up. Awful customer service and waste of a Saturday morning.

We applied for a property through Ascend and found that the process was smooth and easy to follow. We thought the application form was a little difficult to understand but with the referencing teams help we managed to fill it in. Having applied for properties through other agents we would definitely recommend Ascend to anyone. Judging by the experience we have already had we are looking forward to moving in!

View AgentsWill rinse you for money at every oppurtunity
Ascend will charge you a £200 "admin fee", when you ask what this admin fee is for, they can not give you an itemised list of what that goes towards. Then, when the time comes for checkout, they will take a further £54 for a check out fee. Also, don't believe the reviews, they will tell you to rate them 5* to avoid some other check in fee. Absolute scam.

GoogleThis company are negligent and unprofessional. They have done nothing but cause unnecessary stress and upset to my wife and I. They deserve no stars but that is not an option. A disaster.

Ascend have provided advice on your situation and made recommendations based on our experience. We have also advised on legal opportunities available in relation to recovering your previous tenants arrears. You are still within your rights to pursue this balance. Again, we are very sorry for the experience you have had.

Absolutely disappointed as we looked after the property as it was ours but at the end of the tenancy they still wanted to rip us off saying that we left the property dirty. We moved out in September and still waiting for the deposit and they want to charge us more than £100. Be very aware!

GoogleAscend have been fantastic so far! Their members of staff are friendly and always willing to help. They make viewings of properties very easy to accommodate and the text confirmations of the address and times of viewings are great to refer to when you have millions of viewings booked all over the city! I can't wait to move into my new home! Thanks Ascend!

Hi Michael, upon vacating the property there were areas not left in the same clean condition you received the property in. A deduction was therefore made to your deposit to cover the cost of cleaner attending. I note you have agreed to this deduction and the balance of your deposit return has been processed.

GoogleReally good viewing from Courtney for the property, he was really professional and informative, providing us with lots of information and answering all our questions, whilst allowing us to look round the property ourselves. The agency were really helpful in processing our application to ensure we could move forward quickly. We really liked how open the agency were in regards to the property fees upfront.

GoogleI have been waiting for months for a refund of a car parking space, which I was unable to use because Ascend couldn't provide me with the fob in time. They provide an awful service. I have left nunerous voicemails and sent countless emails and no response. Do NOT use Ascend, they are terrible!!!!!NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism
