From the first time I met Ellie I knew I didn't need another estate agent, even tho I had booked one I cancelled them as soon as Ellie left the door. “Ellie will know who I mean”. Lovely helpful staff. I have spoken with and met most of the team and they ladies at the office are really friendly. We met Sue at the one viewing and she was a gem and nipped ober the road to ask the chap who was cleaning his car if we could borrow a tape measure so we could see if our sofa would fit - I thought that was incredibly kind (and above and beyond in terms of job). I also met Ellie on another viewing and our love of dogs soon came up in conversation. Things like this make my viewing a house much more comfortable and relaxed. Lauren in the office is also great. She was back and forth trying to get me a time to see a house in another village as I was seeing another house in the area on one particular day. It was pretty much closing time but she managed to get me a time to coincide with the other house. They are a great team!

Really thankful to Lara for letting me know about the property and big thanks to Leanne for helping progress the whole way through - she was so proactive and kept me informed on any updates every step of the way. When your little one’s early vocabulary suddenly involves ‘Hi Hannah’- you know you’re getting lots of update phone calls, which is never a bad thing when trying to sell, locate or buy a house in a fast paced market. The Malvern office were so proactive. Erica and Charlotte sold our property and actively sourced our next, Hannah kept our chain progressing, heard our worries and spoke to us every few days (as well speaking to our buyer/seller and solicitors), and Simon went the extra mile to help our completion. Nicol and Co are doing things differently, and for us this worked brilliantly. The phone was always answered, we sold quickly, and our chain stayed on track and went through at a fast pace. The ready to sell service meant we had almost everything to hand for Conveyancing, and post completion care has been great.We definitely recommend Nicol and Co Malvern. Everything is well thought out from an experienced team, and tailored to your needs. We are very glad they could take some of the strain for us. Thank you.

I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to Leanne for the exceptionally hard work she has put into ensuring everything was in place in readiness for exchange of contracts today. Leanne has worked her socks off staying in close contact with everyone in the chain. She has cajoled, chivvied, charmed and calmed. In what could of been a stressful time, one particular member of staff made the process much more bearable. Erica has been informative, helpful and has been very pleasant to deal with. Simply the best !! We have moved 15 times in 23 years and I am delighted to say that Nicol&co Malvern branch are by a long way the best agent we have moved with. Thoroughly professional from start to finish. From first contacting Erica and her team we felt we were in the hands of people who new their business and the market and as the sale progressed with the usual trials and tribulations that always seem to occur, Hannah who managed the sale through to completion was exceptional. I can be a difficult and demanding customer and Hannah always responded promptly, calmly and concisely. There may be agents who will charge you a little less, but I doubt it's possible to find an agent who offers better value for money - certainly we haven't. In the end selling and buying your house is probably one of the largest financial transactions you will ever make and has the potential to be one of the most stressful experiences you might be subjected to, so having true professionals supporting you through the process is worth every penny. My wife and I asked several local estate agents to value our house, including Nicol & Co. We chose Nicol & Co. because we sensed a higher level of motivation and friendliness compared to the other companies.They valued our house accurately, achieving the full asking price. The transaction was then handled by one of their sales progressors, (Jessica). Our transaction turned into a nightmare because our buyer used probably the best known cut-price online estate agents, who in due course appointed the worst imaginable solicitors. Their solicitors did not even acknowledge multiple communications from Jessica (or our solicitor), let alone action them!Jessica provided regular updates to us and to the other parties involved in the transaction. When it became apparent that the transaction was in grave danger of collapsing, Jessica escalated the matter to her sales manager (Coralie Walrond)Coral made an incredible effort to keep the transaction alive. She spent hours every day chasing the solicitors that were causing all the problems. During this period, she kept us updated every day by both phone and email. She also liaised closely with the other parties, keeping them onboard. If it were not for her determination and considerable experience we have no doubt that it would have collapsed. Eventually this paid off and the transaction was successfully completed.My wife and I give Nicol & Co. our strongest possible recommendation. They always answered their phone promptly and responded to our emails. They demonstrated incredible determination and competence to achieve a successful outcome. They also stood out for their friendly and supportive attitude throughout. We appointed them rather than another local agent primarily because we sensed a higher degree of motivation and friendliness. When the going got tough, our assessment proved to be accurate. This experience has also demonstrated the risks associated with instructing an online cut, price estate agent, and vindicates our decision to appoint Nicol & Co.

Nicol & Co delivered a fantastic service from start to finish. The channel of communication remained open from the moment we had our property valued by Robin to when we collected the keys at completion. They allowed us to view properties that were on their books but were not yet on the market and it was one of these that we are now lucky enough to call our home. It was actually Matt Nicol who was in the hot seat when we sold our house and it came as a result of him following up with previously interested parties after we decided to drop our asking price slightly. Once at the stage of completing legal documentation Nicol & Co sent an employee to our house to ensure it was done correctly, thus avoiding any delays further down the line. This was an unexpected bonus that was hugely appreciated. The sales progression team were exceptionally helpful and Odette was able to guide us through answering the inquiries we received from our purchasers and Coral ensured the solicitors were working towards the timeline we had requested. Nicol & Co were there to guide us at every step of the process and I would certainly recommend them to friends and family.
