Where do I even begin? They start off all welcoming and friendly and then drop you as soon as you’re in the property. The in branch team are lovely but the property management team are useless.The communication is non existant on their behalf and we won’t even get into the fact they picked a rent day for us without discussion.. now we have to ring and pay every month because they didn’t listen to our requests to pay after pay day. Little hiccups aside, we move in to what seems like a lovely building with friendly neighbours, and then a criminal moves in upstairs. Their security checks that we pay an arm and a leg for are clearly not very thorough. To hear domestic violence and smell drugs is bad enough for anybody, but when you have had the same ordeal yourself and you move here to escape it, all it does it being bad bad memories and affect my health. I don’t feel safe in my own home, it’s been over a year of panic attacks and no sleep and unable to work due to this. After a year they assured me it was over and nothing more would be happening and convinced me to have to pay to have another contract with themIn my fragile state. Despite the fact he has broken the contract agreement and has let the flat out to friends of his who are equally disruptive and abusive, they have done nothing about it. Equally so, I can argue that wards have broken their contract to me for a safe and quiet living environment, so I will now be persuing the matter further. A man who gauges his pregnant girlfriends eyes and keeps her prisoner is not the safe home one would want, especially when there are children in this building. It seems it doesn’t matter if you break your contract as long as you still pay rent, so they’re pointless to begin with. All of my contact they have ignored on this matter and they have also ignored the fact that we have had plumbing issues and property issues for 6 months now. Despite contacting them and the plumber separately. They are the worst and most expensive estate agents I’ve had to deal with, but they’re very happy when they’re getting your money. So BE WARNED, they’ll happily contact you when they need money or a routine check, but ignore your issues regarding the property or any other disruptive behaviour. I will never rent through wards again.

Placed an offer on a house 1 year ago, rushed by the agent to do so cause owner needed to move out asap. 1 year later still waiting for updates, have been chasing the Sales agent and the branch manager and they keep avoiding my emails. My comments reflect the service given by Laura Baker and the staff at the Hythe office namely Mark Mark and Callum. Nothing was too much trouble for the two Marks and Callum and they are all a credit to the company. They were professional courteous and made us feel as if we were their only clients. Laura Baker as our sales progress contact was an absolute star and I think it fair to say we would not have completed on time without her sterling work. She liaised with all the parties and kept us informed about the progress sometimes outside her normal working hours. She provided a level of service which is sadly all too rare these days. My sincere thanks go to the above mentioned people and I hope they get the recognition they deserve.
