I have used Wards of Kent for several years now as my Letting Agents and am pleased with their overall services. Lately post pandemic they appear to have further upped their game and in particular via Kelly Winter and Samuel Willmer the company's communication with clients and professionalism in general are at a new high. Long may it remain at that level.

Wards sold our property within 24…

Wards sold our property within 24 hours, in order for us to purchase our new home. The process was quite stressful due to small legality with our current home that went on far to long in the hands of our solicitor. However it all ended happily and we move this Friday 22nd January. Towards the end of the process both Jon Carroll and Chloe Meadows came to the fore and helped resolve the issue. I absolutely recommend Wards and their wonderful team. The support, compassion and understanding was second to none. I can’t praise them enough. I will certainly recommend them without a doubt. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Excellent service from day one, New Ash Green branch

We cannot recommend the staff at Wards in New Ash Green enough. From the very first visit by Jade to value the house and talk us through the moving process (which we last did 20 years ago...) to the after-sales care by Shelley, nothing was too much trouble and their attention and service were absolutely outstanding.Despite buying a house 200 miles away from our area, trying to move during the pandemic, and having a very long chain to contend with, Jade and Shelley definitely helped to reduce the stress. In particular, they were instrumental in keeping the communication lines open throughout the chain and chasing solicitors etc on our behalf.Don't bother with any other estate agents, go with Wards!

It is with great sadness that I have had to take my property of the market for now due to illness, Dan the manager came to value my house, he was brilliant, very friendly, then I had Dani and Kris come to do the video of the house, again they were chatty and a pleasure to meet, once I started getting viewings coming in I then was dealing with a lovely young man named James, after meeting him only a couple of times it was like I had known him for years, I want to Adopt him, he is a breath of fresh air, I wouldn’t sale my house with any other estate agents, I feel that Wards in Ramsgate have been so thoughtful in more was than one.

Very Pleased

I dealt primarily with Richard Toombs, he was efficent, prompt and very friendly. When he came round to have the consolutation, he was honest, reassuring and knew exactly what he was talking about, he had all the paperwork and information I could have possibly wanted. He was also very willing and able to jump through the legal hoops with me in selling the house for a deceased family member. Calum and Nikki, were also extremely helpful and were excellent at keeping me informed with emails and phone calls, I felt as though I was included in every step of the process, which was very much appreciated. I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone at the larkfield wards, I am very grateful for all your help and services, especially during the pandemic time where you still kept on trying.

Wards of Loose have been excellent for me. Knowing I had a big house to sell, they managed my expectations from the outset, we knew it wasn't going to be easy at that price and viewers were going to be a spacial type of buyer, but they kept me updated regularly and visited me monthly, with ideas and how this end up. The team there are friendly and always welcoming if I popped in. This is reassuring in a difficult market and its having patience and support that gets the sale. I'd use them again for sure. We accepted an offer on our property before lockdown in March and had found one we wanted to buy. We finally exchanged and completed the middle of August. It was a long and bumpy road with problems along the way and we honestly don't think it would have happened without Candice, the Manager of the Loose Office. She is the ultimate professional (and a lovely person) who went over and above her remit to hold our sale together to a successful conclusion. She rearranged a meeting to stay in the office and sort out problems in the chain. We always felt confident that if she said she would do something it happened. We would also mention Holly (who is now based at another branch) who visited us when we marketed the house. Again very professional and answered all our questions without hesitation. Her valuation was spot on, unlike another agent who would have under valued our property. Thanks must also go to Jane Baker, Sales Progressor at Wards, who must have screamed every time she opened her emails but always replied! Our daughter couldn't understand why we didn't market our property with one of the online agents who are so much cheaper and my comments above are the reason why. I'm certain we wouldn't be in our new home now if we had.

At Wards of Ramsgate, Maria Byrne in particular was very efficient in finding me a new tenant within a short space of time. In fact, the day after the last tenant left, there was an open house viewing in my flat. She has given me confidence in how she and Wards run things and I will definitely be continuing with the company. Worst selling and buying experience…

The worst selling and buying experience ever at Wards Rochester/Strood! Avoid this ‘estate agency’ at all costs. Unprofessional, terrible communication, lack of pace, amateur. Don’t be fooled by their reach, there are plenty of other more professional and conscientious agents out there. And never, ever, take any of their partner referrals like Solicitors, they’re equally terrible and will make the process even more stressful. We’d never use them or their contacts again and strongly advise you not to either. Simply awful.

I would like to highly recommend Wards Estate Agents in Hythe. We had quite a lengthy and complex buy and sell as the chain both down several times; but with each hurdle Wards stepped up their game to keep things moving and arrange additional viewings. We finally exchanged contracts last week and I would like praise the professionalism, support and knowledge of the team at Hythe. In particular I would like to thank and recognise Darren Cakebread for his excellent customer service, for always keeping us informed on what was happening and guiding us through each step; he added that extra personal touch to get to know us and our needs.
