At first they were excellent, helpful and friendly and the team offered a good service. Fast forward a few years and the level of service has dropped - whether this is connected to Countrywide or not I do not know. Unfortunately, it no longer feels like you are dealing with a friendly, local office and instead you are up against a large, faceless corporation where 'towing the Company line' is more important than good customer service (unless that is, you are a customer that is (or will be) making them money). There was a time when I would have recommended Ashton Burkinshaw in Maidstone to anyone, but sadly now I would tell them to shop around, with the suggestion that they use a different agent - preferably one with a 'face'.

Where do I start.. I recently rented a property in the Maidstone area and I am actually appalled by how me and my family have been treated. We have made countless complaints, you can never get through to anyone in the Maidstone branch and any complaints/head office don't seem to exist. The staff that DO answer, are so incredibly rude and never call back when a concern has been raised. The woman in the Maidstone branch couldn't care less if you are happy in your property or not so I would avoid this company as much as possible!!!!!

Avoid this Estate Agents at ALL cost. If you are a landlord they will antagonise your tenants and create issues so they can charge for the hassle. Tenants you are basically going to at some point if you have not got your tenancy agreement tattooed on the back of your eyelids going to be gaslighted by management. Check all documents as multiple occasions I've experienced documents be doctored and been gaslighted by the very unprofessional and devoid of compassion manager Emma DO NOT deal with her!! She will Google anything and send it to you, as an official document. Always contact citizens advice for an independent opinion!! I've dealt with awkward estate agents but this Team are next level unprofessional. This is the Maidstone branch Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

Went to view a property today in allington. Which required two busses from where I am with my 2 year old in the pram on a cold and wet afternoon. Wasn’t given a house number walking around in the cold and wet trying to find the property off what looked closest to the house in the pictures. To find the agent had already left and had barely waited 5 minutes. Despite a call to inform we were running a little late due to traffic. Absolutely unprofessional service from mark (I think his name was) and the AB team In Maidstone, hope the landlord sees this comment and thinks twice about you looking for perspective Tenants for his property if this is how you treat them!!!
