When we moved in the property was not cleaned at all. I'd even say it was DIRTY! it was cleaned after a couple of weeks however the first impression was a nightmare. we've had multiple heating issues, and a few engineers we're coming into to fix. I think it was fixed by the 4th one bu wee needed to wait until the Property owner will approve (winter time ) :) The agency is responsive when they need something. when we were moving out the deposit was held for over a month and we were getting same response every week saying they've contacted the property owner but he didnt come back. No proactive approach- I had to email them every week to provide an update. finally raised a dispute and my deposit was released within couple off days.NegativeQuality, Professionalism

Helped us with our sale and purchase last year. We found them honest even when telling us bad news and we got regular feedback and calls even when there was little or no news to share. Worked hard at getting us regular viewings on our sale - we never felt like we were left 'on the shelf' Then they were there through the first lockdown to make sure we could complete and get moved. Friendly yet professional service from the vast majority of the excellent team at Maidenhead.

Roger Platt handled the sale of our Property towards the end of 2020. We looked at several estate agents prior to listing and Stuart really sold us on using Roger Platt. From the first meeting it was clear he had done his research and knew the area well - he was just all round more prepped and informed and showed he cared than the other agents we met. Advertising and sale was also all good, plenty of notice for viewings, never any mix up and lots of useful feedback on people who didn't make an offer. Post sale (which i have now learnt is the most important bit) Will took charge of things and he was second to none. Professional, eloquent and straight to the point. Even during the most trying times of selling he was able to draw on his experience and kept us informed and reassured. He pretty much single-handedly moved our entire chain through to exchange and completion. Having called and registered twice I finally got someone to come and value my home. Agent came around late (no apology given) and didn't really look around properly, didnt even go into our garden which we'd landscaped heavily and other agents valued as a key asset of the house. No market report given or anything and not half as much research and prep as other agents gave. They gave a value which was at the lower end, and after the meeting despite asking for information and the fee to be shared I received no response. I hate to leave a bad review and never do this but I had heard from several friends in the area that they were an agency which operated on sheer volume and had bad customer service... unfortunately I found this to be true, they are complacent due to the volume of properties they oversee and so your custom is just not valuable to them. The staff at Roger Platt have been friendly and supportive in finding me the right flat to rent. They understood my requirements and were consistent in showing me properties in Maidenhead. I have found the perfect flat and an excellent lady. The flat is being managed by them too, but early days, so can't comment on that part just yet! Not giving them the final star because there is just too many systems to deal with once your offer on the flat is accepted and you have to move in. And they all have slightly different names! Doable just not ideal!

I don't think I know a single person who is satisfied with the service they've had from this place. The staff are possibly some of the rudest individuals on earth. Advertising places to let on their website and then to go in the branch and be told they don't have any... No "Oh sorry sir, if you give me your contact details I'll get in touch as soon as possible" just no we don't have anything. The service is laughable! Well you would laugh if you wasn't so offended.
