Reeds Rains were very quick at getting my property on the market, and introduced a large number of potential buyers. A few of these buyers turned out to be unsuitable, and I felt a serious conversation with them before they viewed would have established that they were not serious purchasers. (During covid, the fewer strangers walking through the house, the better). Communication with Reeds Rains was very good. We have been using Reeds Rains since 2014, when we purchased a house in Macclesfield as a Buy to Let investment. We have also used their Tenant Find services on two occasions during the last six years and more recently engaged them in the selling of our property. . They have always been very responsive and shown professionalism and courtesy with all our dealings. The whole process from marketing through to viewings and completion have been faultless. I would highly recommend Reeds Rains, they have never put a foot wrong. Particular shout out to Anthony and Mat they have been brilliant throughout our sale. One mortgage advisor wasn’t helpful so they helped me get with embrace financials and I got the mortgage no problem. They have always been there to help if I have a query, especially Sue. Great service from James & the team, from the first time we spoke on the phone & continued support throughout the sale. Really good modern ideas & suggestions, to sell the house. I went with the modern auction method for the property, which James took the time to clearly explain & i wasn't disappointed. Then the teams hard work in getting all the marketing together & then to get over 50 viewings in a matter of week was phenomenal. To have it all wrapped up & the property to which sold for more than i expected it to in 12 weeks was incredible. After trying to sell my house for 2 years with 2 different estate agents, Reeds Rains took over for the 3rd attempt and sold it within 1 month! James and the team always seemed genuinely enthusiastic about getting my house sold. Everyone in the office were so nice and helpful all the time. When I finally sold the house covid 19 happened! But James and the team carried on as best they could and provided me with information and contacts I needed to carry on the sale when they couldn't. When they were back in the office, normal friendly, professional service continued and they got it over the line. Reed Rains Like many services and facilities in life, you can choose top, middle and cheap. We chose Reed Rains due to our previous experience, which was faultless and positive, much like our recent sale. We are a modern family, we adopt and use technology daily to make life simple, but make no mistake, when you are dealing with the biggest life purchase, apps and dashboards can't replace a person and excellent customer services. We used a chargeable monitoring system, which was nice and kept us updated surrounding the progression of our sale, but when it comes to feedback and issues, you must be able to communicate with a person and not just send an email or message. Read Rains excel in customer service and communication and in my opinion, our sale was so smooth because of their customer focus / services. If you want to speak with a Manager of the branch or any other employee, it’s no problem, you can. I wrote multiple emails, all of which were responded to in a reasonable timescale with the information and support requested. I also received calls with issues and problems, but also just to ask, “how are things going?” “Can we do anything to help”. The service received fundamentally supported a less stressful sale. We also had some minor issues; which Solicitors were not interested in resolving and again, therefore a dedicated estate agent is better than a web portal which is either free or considerably cheaper. Read Rains bridged the seller, buyer, legal and other services to ensure the sale took place on time and that all parties were happy. I would also recommend the additional premium price for pictures of your home when selling, the marginal fee may seem a wasted expense, but I can’t really comment on that as our recent home sold in 3 days on the 1st viewing and our previous home in a week. Maybe it's just luck or magic, or it could be a professional service, excellent pictures and a great understanding of the housing market, I’ll leave that for you to decide! I’m usually quite critical, and don’t normally write reviews, but I feel compelled to on this occasion, as I feel Mathew and his lettings team at Reeds Rains in Macclesfield have done an excellent job in letting out my flat. Contact has been great, they call when they say they will, and have been prompt in replying to my messages. I also appreciate Mathew’s no-nonsense approach, he’s been direct and ‘told me like it is’…which I much prefer to having things sugar-coated. It’s not just Mathew - I’ve had a very positive experience with the whole rental team in Macclesfield. It was Cherry who agreed the let on the flat, this was on the first viewing, and within a couple of weeks of it going onto the market. And Sue kept regular contact with me on the admin side, again being direct, and pushing me along to get my tasks completed in time, I felt that those ‘pushes’ were definitely needed. I’m a first-time-landlord, but I’ve found the whole process straightforward & easy, and have been kept well informed throughout. I genuinely have nothing negative to say, and would 100% want to use Mathew and his team again next time, thank you!

This is our second property sale with Macclesfield Reeds Rains and we have received excellent service from James and the team. Great advice from James at our first home visit to discuss the potential value of our property which informed our decision to complete some renovation works. Our property sold in just a few days and at a price that we were happy with. We completed the sale in approx 12 weeks. Excellent communication throughout, with staff that you can trust who work on your behalf in a professional manner but treating you like their own friends and family. Would definitely use again.

From the first time I walked into Reeds in Macclesfield, I just knew I'd made the correct decision. Anthony was brilliant even though I'd caught him end of the day. He was genuinely interested in my situation and this was so reassuring. I was not just another punter...From first viewing with Sherrie, follow ups with Sue, Matthew and then final viewing with Zoe, I always felt that Reeds had my best interests at heart. Even down to negotiating on my behalf with landlord over a roofing issue just as we were about to sign up!! Nothing was ever too much trouble. I would recommend Reeds Rains to anyone thinking of buying or selling their house. My parents recently sold their house and had a really good experience from beginning to end. We felt as though the property was priced correctly, the photos were excellent, showing the property to it's full potential. They even showed the property to potential buyers and were very professional and knowledgeable especially when negotiating the sale price. Reeds Rains were actually our sellers estate agent, however by the end of the process they felt like ours and they were the ones to receive a thank you gift versus our estate agent who had been practically non existent in the whole process. I can highly recommend Reeds Rains Macclesfield. We were lucky enough to deal with Sophie who managed our sale brilliantly enabling us to get the best price through the negotiations! Our purchase was also being managed by Sophie as well so this made the process easier and her friendly and professional manner made a real difference!
