Thanks for the review Rob, it was great to sell for you. Might have seemed like 6 months :-) but it was just 4 months and 10 days, and that was over the Chroistmas period, so wasnt too bad at all!

Hi Mr Duncan, We generally do not get negative reviews, so I simply telephoned to explain the detail to you out of courtesy, rather than just post a reply to your comment, please be assured that's all. You first viewed the property on 22nd February, we obtained your feedback which was that you and your wife were not making any decisions as you had only looked at 4 other properties, and you wanted to look at others. Just over 4 weeks later on 18th March you came back to say that you wanted to 2nd view, so we booked that in for 20th March. On 18th March another interested buyer saw the property, offered the asking price, were in a proceedable position, and were a lot more decisive, of which the vendor accepted, so we called you the following day to cancel your viewing of 20th March. We knew that it took you nearly 12 months to conclude a sale on your own property, so our vendor did not want to consider that position, making it clear he was happy with the offer that he had just accepted. I appreciate that it is not a great feeling when you hung back and therefore missed out on a property. On Monday when I called you to help explain, you did say that it was your idea to not proceed after the first viewing, and wanted to see ‘plenty’ of others first, despite your wife wanting to go ahead with this property after the first viewing. That of course I cannot control, but have explained the situation clearly to you, so I hope that helps a little. The property was not marked as 'sold' the day the offer was accepted as there were a few minor details that cropped up, to satisfy first, and 3 weeks after the sale was agreed, we do confirm that it is marked as sold subject to contract, and everything is running smoothly.
