The whole team at Reeds Rains were amazing from start to finish when selling our house. First meeting James and discussing options for selling I never felt any pressure, it always felt like everything was my choice and he was there to support and advise me. During the sale it felt like the whole team was behind us, whoever in the office answered the phone was always happy to help anyway they could and we never heard that they weren't on our case so didn't have an answer for us. Sue kept in regular contact with us keeping us up to date with everything as it developed and Lewis was always happy to help when we called the office, nothing ever felt like a hassle. During the sale we had some trouble with the house we were buying (not through Reeds Rains) but Jade was amazing and fought our corner for us ultimately saving the sale. It was so comforting in all the stress to know we had the Reeds Rains team behind us. Thank you!

Viewings went very well with good communications throughout. Local Reeds Rains branch staff did their best to keep us informed during the whole process and it was only when other agencies - solicitors etc - got involved that we felt we were not kept as up to date on what was happening as we might be. I had a very positive experience with Reeds Rains Macclesfield from start to finish and I would not hesitate to recommend them. From the beginning they were professional and well prepared, with a good understanding of the local market. My sale was quite straightforward as I did not have a chain, however it proceeded very quickly and from putting my property on the market to completing on the sale was only 10 weeks (including Christmas!). The team offered helpful advice on the process and were excellent in providing prompt, and constructive, feedback after each visit. Whoever I spoke with, I found them helpful and well informed throughout the process. A particular thanks to Sue who provided a truly appreciated level of support during a difficult time.

STAY AWAY from 42 Brown street, Flat 6, Silk Factory. Me and my partner were first time renters and were unknowingly charged £400 per month over market value for our flat. As well as this, the flat was falling apart when we moved in and we couldn’t even live there for the first month due to a broken boiler. However, the main problem is the landlord, there is a distinct lack of care and quality for this flat and although there were multiple issues with the plumbing, broken taps, broken freezers and the aforementioned broken boiler he still tried to knock £500 off of our security deposit for a scuff on the wall and broken appliances that we reported during our first week in. After disputing the deposit claim, he has now ceased all communication with ourselves and Reeds Rains. Awful experience and has made us never want to deal with Reeds Rains again.
