Having been out of the country for over 10 years and not being from the area I was struggling to find an agent who actually seemed to want to rent a property! Either the rental market is so buoyant in Cheshire that they don't have to put themselves out or they were just unprofessional. On asking colleagues I had been told Belvoir were not easy to deal with but all agents appeared to be in my opinion. However, Barry at Belvoir and the team were great, professional and helpful and made the whole experience easy. One call about the area and type of property I required, an explanation regarding my constraints with viewing times and it was booked, viewed, and reserved within days. As above being out of the country for so long meant we had no credit rating but again Barry had a work round for this and both I and my wife moved in last week with no hassles or problems. Thank you Belvoir, much appreciated.

Absolutely appalling service from start to finish selling our property with them. Not once did they contact us proactively, we did all the chasing. Found us a 'quick, cash buyer' which turned out to be a slow buyer who required a mortgage, so essentially lied to us to make the sale. We are so glad to have finally completed and have these people out of our lives. The most stressful 10 months ever - steer clear of these cowboys.

Your review is most surprising, particularly after failing to respond to requests to confirm your viewing appointment earlier today (twice by text and once by telephone), and then not to show for your appointment that you asked us to make for you. To not take a few seconds and have the courtesy to let the agent know that you are unable to attend is extremely disappointing, especially as you've clearly been able to take the time to leave this review. Indeed, when we did eventually speak to you, not even a simple apology was forthcoming. Time is a valuable commodity for everyone and in a busy rental market such as we have now, you have not only left an agent kicking their heels and wasted their time, you have also denied another potential viewer an opportunity to see the property at that time. We wonder if you would have taken a similar non-communicative approach if it was a Doctor or Dentist appointment. We're sure if someone had made an appointment with you in your profession, that they failed to keep, and indeed failed to let you know they were unable to keep it, you wouldn't be impressed. It is always worthwhile showing a little courtesy as it costs nothing other than a few seconds of time.

GoogleUtterly rubbish. Having scheduled a full day of viewings these incompetent swines were absent for the first viewing of the day. When challenged on it, they simply responded there was a miscommunication, despite confirming the viewing earlier in the week. No wonder their properties are on the market for months, they can't get their act together to show people around! This estate agent is garbage, avoid at all costs.
