Great property buying experience

I brought a property from Loddon Properties finally and the experience was so impressive. During the property chain, I underwent two times of difficulties. The first difficulty was that the chain had been broken down suddenly and the second difficulty was the seller’s solicitor was wind up 2 weeks before the date of completion. But the Sales Progressor, Jayne Gaskin updated me swiftly every times when she received messages from my seller and even keep sending an email on Sunday, which was not supposed to work. I definitely can’t complete the transaction smoothly without the help of her. She is the best Sales Progressor that I ever seen and I really appreciate all the efforts she put into my case.

Avoid this agent at all costs!! There are enough local agents to go through to not have to deal with such amateurs as at Loddon. Spoke to a lady called Marion and also others, and they all speak rudely, are obnoxious and unhelpful. They seem to have an arrogance that deserves for all business going to other better agents locally. A course in customer services wouldn’t go amiss!

As tenant they dnt care they grab as much out of the tenant as possible. They only think of owners. So as a tenant I strongly recommend you read the contract fully, highly recommended As they will get your money from deposit in some way. As an owner It’s paradise for you cause they will rinse the tenant for you.they charge you £320 to clean even if you have it cleaned and respected the property

My experience with Loddon properties wasn't great. Since they were the letting agency so we could not get in touch with the landlord and had to communicate with them. The agents would always not reply emails unless we called 5 times or emailed multiple times. We ended our tenancy on 30th September and they took 1.5 months to even properly reply and return our deposit money. The deductions they made we were not happy with it but due to current covid situation etc we didn't feel like fighting over it as we were so fed up to receive any replies we thought we won't argue even after that the agent took 3 weeks to respond until I had to do a call again saying we are done. We got the end of tenancy cleaning done and paid a fair amount for it. Still they deducted the cleaning money again from our deposit saying it was not from their renowned list of cleaners. I usually don't like to post negative reviews but this time I actually got so frustated and tired.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

Currently renting a property through Loddon Properties. We could not fault them with finding a property and dealing with paperwork quickly and efficiently to get the tenancy started. However, as Loddon Properties do not have the responsibility for maintenace of this particular property, this has proved to make the resolution of any issues very slow and frustrating - for all involved. Loddon Properties have tried to do everything within their powers to rectify issues.

I found the staff very helpful, friendly and polite when I was interested in viewing a property they were selling. Viewing also went really well and I wanted to buy. After getting in touch with the agent, who was very helpful and responsive,I was asked to kindly send a single and best bid for the property with details backing my claim as a prospective buyer. I did this and was told I would be contacted that evening or in the morning to confirm the outcome as there were other bids. Next day, afternoon comes and I’ve heard nothing and property shows as sold on rightmove. I tried calling the agent twice and sent an email to just get some closure or clarity or feedback about the situation and what had happened, but a few days have passed and no response. I’m not as bothered that I was clearly unsuccessful. But I am frankly applaud and shocked by how I just got cut off. As a business you should never treat a potential buyer that way especially if there could have been other properties in future you could have sold to them. Even an automated or template response would have been acceptable. Far from a respectful experience and I will not be intending to buy or sell via this company given my experience.

Awful company, very untrustworthy and they try to make additional money from where they can. Management do not call back to speak with customers and are probably hiding the Management also walk away when customers enter their premises.
