GoogleEverything were good until you moved out from their managed property. They will try to bill you something which they didn't show on the checklist, and made up a new invoice AFTER I disagreed the deduction on DPS platform with a cleaning company that they had experinces to connect to.
And tried to call me EVERYDAY for 2 weeks to let me listening their so-called deal. I don't understand why we need to skip the DPS platform to exchange information.
They are good a finding a cleaning company to bill you, but not able to let you use that cleaning company they agreed BEFORE you paid for your own, so that they can always found problems to charge you. That's how the profitable trick was played.

GoogleMy son has had the unfortunate experience of renting a flat through this company. He moved into this costly furnashed rental to find Fridge freezer not working and other items defective. Upon openening a pull out bed he found faeces encrusted sheets along with soiled female underwear. The Flat was found to be infested with bed bugs. This agents actions in dealing with this were incompetent beyond belief. My Son endured this for several months whilts they did the bear minimum, eventually through their utter incompetence this went on to the flat being flooded due to poor comunication with building manager loddons and pest control company my son has so much of his possions ruined and he we rendered homeless he was provided dalily on a adhoc basis a room for the night and eventually the tennacy was annulled. The director of the company despite assuring my son he would do the right thing did the bare minimum. I would live in a tent before using these agents. To summarise my son paid for a furnished flat that had no refigeration for a lengthy period, endured bed bugs for several months, rendered homeless and he is a profesional teacher the stress and harm this has caused him is beyond reason. We have photos of everything that he endured..

GoogleI have rented on and off for many years and to me the mark of a good estate agent is that they advocate for me as a potential tenant - I'm unusual in being both a renter and a landlord unable to work from my own home due to location disparity.
Sophie at the Basingstoke branch deserves special recognition for her timely correspondence, friendly demeanor and common sense approach.
Sophie is literally my go-to first point of contact if I need to broach any issues and she demonstrates a perfect balance of being both personable and totally professional.
Sophie exemplifies the difference between customer service and customer care and I have no hesitation in commending (and recommending) her approach and work ethic.
Referencing can feel a little intrusive but I have never felt rushed pushed or made to feel like anything less than a valued customer.
Having been a customer of Loddon properties for almost a year, I tested the market and, despite there being cheaper properties on offer, decided to stay with Loddon for the coming year.
The excellent customer care I have received has been a large part of my decision-making process.

They are enthusiastic, engaged and proactive. Rather than just sitting back and waiting for Rightmove inquiries, they proactively marketed the house and the area to potential buyers. Everything was very clearly explained to us regarding the selling process as well as our various options without any hard selling. I actually don't begrudge the selling cost as I feel like they did do actual work for us.

As a tenant, they are absolutely shocking to deal with. Communication is pretty much non-existent, especially from one of their directors, Lyle Berends, who totally ignores emails, phone calls, etc. I have made several complaints to him directly, all to no avail. Their practices as a company are also somewhat shady, with information provided later proving to be very economical with the truth. Although really helpful when we first signed our lease with them, the relationship deteriorated from the day we took occupation. The property, according to them, had been 'professionally cleaned' - this couldn't have been further from the truth as it had not been cleaned at all, let alone 'professionally' cleaned. The owners were so horrified by our comments on the inventory report that they visited us personally, where we were able to show them photographs of the property on occupation. As we had to move in, we ourselves cleaned the place up & got some contractors in to do the windows & overgrown garden. Loddon Properties promised to re-imburse us for our out of pocket move in expenses... and here we are, almost 9 years later & still no reimbursement, despite following up several times. My advice would be to avoid this company at all costs, if possible.

FacebookThe treatment we have received from Loddon Properties has been absolutely incredible! we had such a tough time finding a rental. I am 30 weeks pregnant, we have a 20 month year old toddler and every other agent and landlord were pretty much uninterested in dealing with us as we have just immigrated from SA. From the start, the Loddon staff was friendly, helpful and they found us our first home! when I picked up the keys this morning, we were gifted with a huge box of goodies, explained exactly how everything in the house works and gifted the most beautiful personalised champagne glasses too. They have made our house hunting (which was initially a very depressing and stressful experience) such an exciting time! I'm so extremely grateful for the staff at Loddon Properties and we will only be using them moving forward! A big thank you to Lyle, Marion, Steve and Louis for everything!! GoogleHonestly the whole team were great, friendly and polite when having any communication with us except Marion. For some reason she thought she could speak to us like we were something from the floor as if we weren’t paying over £1,000 per month for rent. Marion decided to call me accusing me of agreeing to something in an email when in fact I never received the email she claimed, she then never had the decency to call back and apologise but rather got a young girl to do it for her and take blame for the fact she didn’t send the email. As the matter was regarding taking my 9 month old baby outside for extended periods of time in winter whilst they conducted viewings I said I couldn’t do this & the one email they sent was not clear on times. Marion called me immediately and started with “I didn’t know you had another baby” (I hadn’t)?? I was then accused of not paying enough rent in the last months of my tenancy and had a “notice” put on my file which resulted in them calling me telling me I had to pay an extra £100 for the last month - causing unnecessary stress as we were moving out. When I showed the email as proof of our agreement, I then had to call THEM back and get confirmation that I actually was correct and did not need to pay the extra money, the apology I received only from Lyle was weak to say the least. However, they made sure to get this money back and more by deducting over £300 for “cleaning” at the end of the tenancy even though they stated it had been left in suitable condition.
I wouldn’t recommend letting with them in future unless you like being messed about and spoken to like rubbish.

Meanwhile, here's a 2019 fly-tipping fines article with the company's name "Pair fined more than £4,000 for two fly-tipping incidents in Basingstoke". Total inconsistency. Disappointing and unfair. GoogleWe had an incredibly disappointing experience with this letting agency. Over the course of our tenancy, numerous issues with the property were reported and highlighted during every inspection, but none of them were ever addressed. Despite repeatedly bringing up these concerns, there was no follow-up or resolution, and communication from the management team deteriorated over time. Eventually, our complaints were ignored entirely, leaving us with no choice but to vacate the property.
I would strongly advise others to avoid this agency, as their lack of professionalism and care for tenants’ needs is unacceptable. I will be sharing my experience with others to prevent them from making the same mistake
