GoogleFound a house listed by Loddon Properties & purchased it, all in under 3hrs with the most excellent service from the Loddon Team. I have never come across such likeminded people who strive to achieve so much, In such little time. It took 4 calls and 3 emails to seal a deal for my new home. With a top performance from the Vendor too! I recieved 101% and no less from each member of the team with speed, a couple of days before Christmas. Amazing respectful team! Thank you seems so little for all you have d one for me. 5*

GoogleDon’t waste your time - they will do that for you. I arranged with Lyle Berends on the 27th April to view some of the new Churchill Place apartment plans in Basingstoke. At the time, the ones I were being shown were being marketed off plan as they were not yet finished being built. I agreed to let one of the ground floor apartments, on the only agreement that I must be able to move in by 1st June, as my previous tenancy expires then. Lyle said this would be no problem at all, as the apartment would be finished and ready to move in by no later than mid May. I gladly paid the holding deposit, completed referencing checks and then waited patiently to hear when my move in date would be available. As the weeks passed, I didn’t get much contact from Loddon Properties after that, I was the one having to call them up, chase up my own emails & voicemails after never receiving any responses. I began to become curious as to what was going on and why I was being kept in the dark, especially since the end of my tenancy was fast approaching and I didn’t yet have a confirmed move in date. I rang Lyle, 3 days before 1st June, asking what is going on? He then tells me that the “apartment is complete” but now all of a sudden I won’t be able to move in until mid June, yes - 3 days before I would technically be homeless, he tells me that actually I won’t be able to move in by 1st June after all due to their offices not having access to the landlords keys. (Please note, he never called ME to tell me this, I had to make numerous phone calls & emails to their office in order to gain any updates regarding a move in date). It was only then since I said to Lyle, forget it, I’m not interested in dealing with Loddon Properties anymore, that all of a sudden I started to receive a 5 star service - calls, emails, immediately. Does commission have something to play in this? What do you think. I withdrew from the agreement, as they couldn’t offer me what they originally promised. Please note getting my deposit back took numerous calls & emails too, Lyle soon lost interest in being helpful after he realised he wasn’t getting a client anymore. And not once did he apologize for all the hassle he caused me. One of the worst letting agency experiences I have had. You really let me, and the reputation of Loddon Properties down, and I’m shocked as to how you can gamble so carelessly with my living situation like that. 3 days before! Shocking. Would not recommend this company at all.

GoogleI have been with Loddon properties over a year now, as a landlord. Loddon have been managing my property for me, When I first started contacting them I constantly had to ask for a reply via email or phone for information which was frustrating. the staff member I dealt with had excuses of email faulty or not getting my messages left by phone. Recently I have been contacted by Carla Abreu now managing my account and she has made a lot of difference, responding to my calls and emails, dealing with organising issues to my property promptly. If you are thinking of using Loddons just ask for Carla to act on your behalf and the job will be ( WELL) done.

GoogleLP sold our property quickly and for a good price however do need to step up in terms of their communication and transparency regarding floor plans (surely this should be included as standard?!). All issues and stress were avoidable if LP had have been on top of this from the outset. We wouldn’t use LP again unless there was strong evidence to suggest they had improved in these issue areas. Be aware and ask questions, don’t make any assumptions and do shop around!

FacebookWhen we checked out a property it was left in a better state then when moved in. Then when it come to the deposit we was stung for loads of money still. Watch out for hidden checkout fee! That you don’t get told about.

Good afternoon Anyta_ubyta13, Thank you for your above feedback. We do endeavour to provide good customer service and have a personal approach so we are disappointed to hear your feedback. Unfortunately whilst yourself and may others are offering on a number properties it is something completely out of our control who a vendor elects to accept and proceed with. This is how the market is at present with very little by way of supply to the sales market and yet there is huge demand with respect to applicants. This inevitably pushes prices up as we have seen all of our properties selling in excess of asking price. This has been seen industry wide and indeed been fed-back to ourselves by Rightmove with supply of properties down by over 30% in comparison to last year. We are duty bound to present each and every offer to a vendor and it is their prerogative as to which offer they proceed with. Whilst we appreciate this may not be what you want to hear it is the truth of the market as we sure many others in the industry would concur. It is a fierce market and one very much in the favour of vendors. Our only advice to yourself is to place offers in the most proceed-able position and at a level which you are comfortable is your best and final and one you feel the property is worth to you. GoogleI went to view a property and got very lost on the way. The agent who was meeting me, Andy Austen, was so helpful guiding me via his map app on his phone. Despite being incredibly late, and eating into his evening, at no point did he show frustration. He was kind, helpful and professional. He did a very good job of showing the property too.
