To build on my pension pot I have acquired a small portfolio of rental properties. As I have invested a great deal it was really important that the tenants took care and enjoyed living in them. Our house was listed for sale on Boxing Day 2020 with Open Day viewings held on 16th and 18th January 2021. We received 7 offers from the two open days and accepted a fantastic offer on 19th January 2021 from a perfect buyer. Our first contact was with Jamie Moxon, who has been OUTSTANDING! My experience with William H Brown was beyond disappointing. My mum had to cancel two appointments to view houses, and instead of receiving understanding, she was made to feel like a school kid being told off. The staff were incredibly rude and patronising. I’ve never felt so angry listening to the way she was being spoken to. Based on this, I would absolutely not recommend using their services.

We, as a company who rent many from agents, properties throughout England, have experienced a very professional, friendly and helpful service from William H Brown Lowestoft. Although we have communicated with several of the branch staff our main point of contact has been Sam Ellis. Sam has delivered advice, suggestions and been the link between landlords, our property manager and our accounts team. Nothing has been to much trouble for Sam and his colleagues, always available to help. Communication has always been a strong point, together with a friendly and pleasant attitude. The saleman used his sales techniques to sound brilliant but actually we were VERY disappointed, we didn't even realise we were signed up just for Browns to sell the property so couldn't go with anyone else. The origional photographs were awlful and we had to ask for them to be redone the descriptions of our upstairs rooms sounded like there was no headroom just because a ceiling sloped slighly. he even argued with me and sid there was no head room for him however he was a very tall salesman and stood right against the wall which no normal person would do. They failed to advertise our BIG viewing day and even got the dates wrong, so we didn't get many viewing Because we complained we were allowed to bring Hart estate agents on board as well. The buyer was also with Harts but becuase they made the first enqiry with Browns they had to go with Browns, but really Browns made no effort to sell our property and we had to let it go cheaper than wanted because we found a property that we wanted and therefore needed a quick sell. Even their morgage adviser didnt help, harts morgage adviser said we could borrow nearly twice as much and have a longer mortgage enabling us to buy our dream property, I would NOT reccommend them in any shape or form.

She also arranged for me to see there mortgage broker; Vikki who was once again very helpful. She secured me a fantastic rate and helped the sale go through both quickly and smoothly. The team at William H Brown kept me fully up to date with what was happening and when and has since been in contact to see how my move went. I had initially contacted 3 estate agents to which 2 of them just didn't listen to what I wanted, my advice would be to just contact the one; William H Brown in Lowestoft!
