GoogleSarah Mains have been helping me with their tenant finding service for my properties in Pelaw for the last 10 years. In that time, I've found them to be professional, friendly, helpful and extremely quick at getting me excellent tenants in a short space of time, thereby reducing the pain of elongated void periods! GoogleCommunication was efficient and effectively, both verbal and written to ensure that the process was quickly settled within the time scale set. Staff were friendly and helpful with all enquiries. Staff at this office seemed to be my advocate, liasing with other agencies to ensure to time scale was achieved. I can't thank you enough. GoogleExcellent. Following our poor experience with a competitor who failed to get any real viewing in 4 months. Sarah Mains showed what a good estate agent can do, getting many viewings and selling our house within 2 weeks of going on the market.

GoogleExperienced appalling conduct from Sarah Mains, including but not limited to discrimination, misleading information and poor communication. A combination of these factors resulted in us losing the flat we wanted in favour of another applicant, to whom Sarah Mains had given preference, by lying to us about how the applications would be assessed. Their fees are also very expensive and I found myself having to do the majority of chasing when it came to the property search. They were also 15 minutes late for another property viewing and messed us around with another flat which they uploaded to Rightmove, that transpired wasn't being let at all. I recommend anyone who considers using Sarah Mains find an alternative agent, in the strongest terms possible. I note from the other negative reviews that their stock response is to simply highlight all their positive reviews. This attitude underpins the company's disregard for customer care and wellbeing, as they offered no resolution to our situation or were willing to reconsider the application.

GoogleWe had a very difficult year dealing with a vendor who through illness and various complications couldn't fulfil their responsibilities in the chain. Their understaffed under-equipped online property agent together with the solicitor (from another city), which the vendor had instructed after advice from the online agent were of little help. Our estate agent at Low Fell's Sarah Mains office however, seemed to be the only other people in the chain who really proactively tried to help. Their branch manager Katy Wilson took our case on and used her experience and initiative to chase people up and investigate hold ups in order to try and keep things moving. As it became apparent that there were difficulties with our vendor, it seemed to me, there was precious little interest from any of the other professionals in the chain except Sarah Mains. This is the second time we have dealt with SM when moving and they've always been great. Thank you for your help SM and Katy. GoogleWe sold our house through Sarah Mains. Customer service was excellent, keeping us well informed every step of the way and negotiating on our behalf with the buyer over a few minor repairs which was very helpful. Proir to acceptance we had 3 parties bidding before accepting an offer. We highly recommend their services.
