There rental fees are shocking! 60% of the first months rent as a administration fee? Thats for a tennant to apply to take a lease on a rented property. The goverment do right in trying to stop this money making racket, got to be the most expensive agent i have ever applied with for a rented property. There not bothered about 10 years worth of checkable rental history, there not even bothered about the bond they just want this fee. Cost £15-20 to do a credit check on a new tennant so whats the rest go on ? 10 sheets of paper and a hours work to sort it all out. SHOCKING OVER PRICED FEE NO WONDER SOME OF THE REVIEWS STATE PROPERTYS WERE LEFT EMPTY FOR MONTH IS IT ANY WONDER. There not trying to satisfy there customer with a tennant straight away there just lining there pockets .

Parts of the service have been good, but the majority have been extremely poor. Agreed a video tour when contract was signed, hasn’t taken place and we are nearly at the end of our 20 week agreement, despite a reminder request sent. Our house was also taken off the market and would be unavailable to view even though we are still in our 20 week agreement, all because we had given them our 28 days (which makes it a 24 week agreement not 20 as originally stated). We were also not given a copy of our contract which they don’t send out to vendors unless requested which I find extremely hard to believe as it’s a legal contract but only one party has a copy!!’ Wouldn’t be using them again that’s for sure

The team have been so supportive in helping me and my boyfriend look for our first place together. They’ve listened to what we like and care so much about what we think. They take on our feedback and really tailor their finds to suit us. Even when we asked to put our search on hold, the team have been so supportive in working with our new time frame. Ellie from the office is so sweet and makes so much effort in finding the right property for someone’s needs. She’s a real gem and an asset to the organisation. We’ve made the decision to definitely find somewhere to live with Sarah Mains. It’s all down to Ellie and her excellent customer service.

Sarah Mains were supposed to be managing our property while we were abroad. They failed to find new tenants for the property and didn't provide any communication with us despite promising 'weekly updates' in their contract with us. This meant I had to chase them whilst abroad and our property was left sitting empty for two months because of this. Would NOT recommend to any landlord. Within weeks of changing rental agent they had found us a great new tenant and were proactively contacting us.

I can’t thank everyone at Sarah Mains for their absolutely wonderful service with our house sale. The whole team are so approachable and professional, nothing was too much trouble. Right from the moment the wonderful Dawn came to value our house, we knew we would sell with Sarah Mains. She was knowledgable and really knows the market. Chris and Donna in the office never failed to put us at ease, they were quick to get back to us and really cared about what they were doing. All around there is no other estate agents like them.
