GoogleWill Merrit hosted the viewing for a property that we were interested in. He was very professional, not pushy, early for the appointment and answered all questions honestly with no pressure or hard sale tactics. Cannot fault the service , I'd recommend using him. Whilst he couldn't guarantee we'd be successful in the application, he made it clear it was the landlords decision based upon the info provided. This honesty is appreciated.

GoogleLettings side are absolutely terrible! If you are under the age of 30 and you want to try and rent through this company you'll have a hard time. They talk down to you like you're a 5 year old and you don't have a clue what you're talking about. They don't keep you updated they just sit and wait for you to contact them and when you do they make you feel like you're pestering them. From day one they didn't want us to get the property and they made it very hard for us! Worst company I have ever dealt with. Rude, unreliable, lazy and very patronising!! DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECCOMEND!!

GoogleThe quality of service from Robert Ellis was amazing. They were extremely easy to deal with and very responsive to enquiries. As a first time home buyer in the UK they made the process straight forward. I particularly liked that they were able to support with the complete transaction and the many different aspects from helping find mortgage support to gardeners once the transaction was completed. As an overseas buyer it was further complicated and difficult and was made much easier by Mark Philpott in particular.

GoogleRecently sold my property through Robert Ellis, Long Eaton and I would highly recommend! From valuation to completion the experience was seamless. The marketing was brilliant and I had a whole weeks’ worth of viewings lined up for the property only hours after the details had been released to the wider public! The property was sold within 2 days and from start to finish the whole process was complete in 10 weeks! Throughout the selling process communication was exceptional. A HUGE thank you to everyone on the team, but special thanks have to go to Caroline who kept me constantly up to date and went above and beyond to ensure things happened as quickly as possible, not only was she professional, knowledgeable and efficient, she was also very caring and understanding, a very personal service!

GoogleOn two occasions they have arranged something with myself that I accomodated for out of courtesy. Two occasions I have been let down with them not showing up without even a phone call or an E-mail to advise me. Thats 2/2. In the early years of renting through this agent, I would have to ask the same questions several times to get an answer. On standard reviews of the property, they would spot an error & advise me that they will get it sorted despite it not being a major deal for me. Problem being that the expectation that was set and not followed through on which is the typical workplace practise for this company.

GoogleI've never had to deal with such a unreliable business!!! David the manager and Sophie in the long Eaton letting store are rediculouse.... Don't ever go with robbert Ellis worst company!! I even had someone from the head office come out to my house (hoping something would get done about my damp and something would be done about the stained walls from the leak we had that they also left neglecting for 2-3 months) just full of false promises!! I have children staying here and I'm pregnant and they still are not interested.... don't believe a word that comes out of their mouths

We try to do our best wherever possible but I think this time, we fell short of our normal standards. I initially requested a Valuation by email because i couldn't get through on the phone, nobody got back to me, which now seems like a blessing I've called to look at several properties, and as long as you can fit into their schedule your OK but never when you want to view, After putting in an offer on a property i received no feedback until I called them two weeks later to be told that the property had now sold although you wouldn't know it from their website because it is still shown as available two weeks after being told it was sold.(and still is shown as available) Good luck to anyone wishing to sell a property with them. Hopefully your property will sell itself. (but you'll still have to pay them)
Hi Steve, Further to our conversation, I wanted to reiterate our disappointment that you haven’t received the high service we strive to offer. I’ve looked into our records for the property that you were interested in. I can see that we offered you a date and time for the viewing, however as this wasn’t convenient we offered a different time and date, unfortunately the call ended, and without a name we couldn’t call you back. Regarding the offer that you put on the property, we received an offer (from your partner) and this was rejected the same day. We subsequently received a higher offer from another applicant which the vendor then later accepted. All properties remain available for sale until solicitors are instructed and a survey has taken place. We do this to keep details of any interested applicants so that in the case of a sale falling through, we can contact buyers who are able to proceed as soon as possible. This is best practice across the industry to ensure a sale goes through from offer to completion as smoothly as possible. I’m sorry that you feel disappointed with our service, Robert Ellis are proud to sell the most properties in Long Eaton and the surrounding area and strive to achieve the best possible price for our vendors. GoogleSold and bought through Robert Ellis recently and found them professional and polite at all times. Our chain had some difficulties and stress but we got there in the end largely due to the estate agents pushing for answers from the solicitors. We often had to call and ask for updates instead of being given them automatically which is the only reason we have taken off one star, obviously they have other clients to deal with so we did understand we weren't always their priority.
