GoogleGot a viewing and a confirmation message I called three times to confirm it, but while I’m at the property (while it is still available on the website) no one showed up, and I called they told me the property has been taken and no longer available, and told me no one will be coming for the viewing, NO CANCELLATION MESSAGES WERE SENT TO ME. So we came all the way here just for nothing. What a waste of time.

GoogleTerrible experience. Zach the sales manager sold us the dream of Winkworth and we fell for it. The service was terrible. We had to come in several times to get replies, as we were being ignored. We were locked into the contract so couldn't leave early. They get 2 stars because the silver lining was the branch director. He was quite supportive. However the service did not improve. Thankfully the director eventually allowed us to leave earlier than the contract dictated. Thank you. Regards, Milan Murray

GoogleWinkworth in Shepherds Bush managed to sell our house where two other local estate agents failed in 2017 and 2018. Mike, Simon and James were also a pleasure to deal with- funny, professional and not 'too estate agency'. (ie they are normal people!). They also have a vast encyclopedic knowledge of the shepherds bush area.

Daisy and Sophie were very professional, always available and a pleasure to work with throughout the whole experience in finding a tenant giving me regular updates and feedbacks from prospective tenants. GoogleMichael Connaughton is amazing. He has just acted as agent for the sale of my house (which he sold me 10 years ago) and my purchase of another one. He has been wonderful throughout: always pragmatic, helpful and charming, on the ball but never pushy. His knowledge of the local area is vast, walk round with him and he seems to know everyone, so he is able to tell you all the pros and cons of different locations. He was also able to recommend a host of contacts, from a mortgage broker to a painter to a garage to repair my tyre when I got a flat during a viewing. The rest of the team offered great support too, always friendly and polite. I cannot recommend Winkworth Shepherd’s Bush, and Mike in particular, more highly.

GoogleI have been using Winkworths Shepherds Bush as my agent for letting properties since 2006 - throughout that time they have been, as a team, unfailingly conscientious, polite and above all proactive when it comes to - (1) advising on state of the properties and letting considerations (2) finding tenants with minimal void periods (3) attending to transfers of tenants and paperwork associated with it with minimum fuss Somehow through the time that I have been using Winkworth as an agent they have managed to maintain a motivated, positive and proactive team who are always a pleasure to deal with - 5 stars! Special mention to Mike Connaughton and (relatively a newcomer) Sophie Leaver for their outstanding service -

Apart from the fact that they completely ignore you when you ask for something, after 2-3-4 weeks when they do reply, they either send the wrong thing or people who have no idea how to do their jobs. We had mice in our flat from beginning of tenancy to end, and no one cared. We had our fridge broken in the middle of August (not working to begin with), all our food went bad, until they sent someone after 3 weeks. Now when we decided not to renew, they are finding excuses to charge us petty money. One agent has no idea what the other says or does, completely incapable and unprofessional. We are saddened to read your review which was posted immediately after your landlord had proposed some minor deductions from your security deposit for items missing from the property at the end of your tenancy. I understand that after you disputed these deductions that the Landlord relented as the amount was only £32 so the Landlord felt that there was no point arguing over it. The reported issue over mice was dealt with swiftly and we were never informed that the problem was not resolved. We are sorry that the fridge broke down in August 2020 but we did get an engineer to attend immediately but unfortunately it was not repairable and a new one was ordered straight away but due to the pandemic there were supply problems and it did take a couple of weeks to arrive which I appreciate must have been frustrating. We wish you well in your new home.
