GoogleI was looking for a flat for two months during London rental crisis and it was a super stressful time to find something I like and get a viewing before someone puts a deposit down.. Azhaar was amazing at showing me all the properties available with Winchester White and answering all the questions that occurred. He was really helpful and polite. I would definitely recommend him as the letting agent that I came across with.

From my first meeting with Jake, it was clear that Winchester White is filling a gap in the rental market, providing an experience and a high level of customer service delivered by the whole team. The fact they only work in the rental space and not sales as well, was one of the reasons I was keen for my first consultation and meeting. At this meeting, I learned that this specialty meant their whole process is geared around matching the "right" profile of tenant with a landlord's requirements....rather than just getting the tenancy filled. The lettings team; Ines, Alisha and Sarah were equally brilliant during viewings and their level of professionalism and care in showing prospective tenants through my property reassured me I had made the right choice in my selection of a lettings agency. When I needed to find a London apartment in the middle of summer that was not only available on a short term rental basis, and nice, but also pet friendly… Winchester White absolutely saved me. Beautiful, well-maintained homes and extremely efficient, personal and professional service. My onward purchase fell through last minute so Sarah and the team at their Wimbledon village office turned around a bespoke agreement for me within 2 days from viewing, so that I could move into my dreamhome reliably without disruption. They not only solved my biggest problem but made the whole experience a pleasant one. Thank you!

Working with Sarah, my partner and I were able to secure a new property to rent for ourselves and our 3 kid and 2 cats. Sarah was amazing to work with, very responsive to queries, and provided excellent support with the paperwork. Listened to our requirements and provided excellent house options. Finding a new home is jot easy and Sarah took the angst out of it. Highly recommend. Will use again when the time comes.

In January, my family and I relocated from Dublin, Ireland to London for a work assignment. Of all the estate agencies we dealt with, Winchester White (Jake and team) were by far the most professional and consultative. Our experience to date with the agency has been positive and I've been impressed with the level of compassion they show to tenants. On top of this, the employees are friendly and speedy in their communications. I'd have no hesitation referring Winchester White to any tenant.

They gave me a lot of headaches when returning the property. They kept threatening me to show the property all the time saying I didn’t give enough slots for it, but I work from home and couldn’t open the property all the time. They should be more comprehensive. Also, I had an abusive landlord who were harassing me and my wife and they took the side of the landlord. We had to call the police to remove the landlord from the house since she was there without our permission and the Winchester White manager called me to help the landlord to harass me and wife. Terrible situation. At the end they didn’t help us to get the deposit back and it took 3 months. I don’t recommend them at all

TrustpilotWW Wimbledon letting Agency is a disaster. Non responsive, never fixes anything. Don't rent their homes, renters beware.
Wimbledon letting Agency is non responsive, rented us a house with broken heat. Blamed us when it was not fixed for 6 months! Suggested at some point to buy heaters everywhere instead of fixing. And dangerous broken fence outside is still hanging loose. They fix nothing, don't follow up and don't care. 1. We reported the heat in October 2021 and it has not been fixed for a year.2. Reported broken fence - never fixed3. Reported leak in bathroom coming from light socket - it took 6 months to complete. The agency doesn't know what's left vs. right is doing. Very responsive until you sign a contract to lease, after that they treat tenants as a commodity. We are leaving our rental due to extremely poor service. Contract allows them to come in with 24 hour notice - and now they call all the time, so apparently when it is to the agency advantage, they take it on. Happy to name who is particularly negligent if you wish to contact us. HOUSE OWNERS: Just use a different agency. You'll get much better service and tenants will stay longer.

GoogleAvoid. The negative reviews are pretty consistent- poor communication and no follow through. I’m a first time landlord as I moved for a job and process was pretty awful. Their fees are expensive- 17% and they promise corporate or professionals- I got students. The feedback from views was high spec but expensive, so Winchester Whites advice, increase the rent and go for students. I was in a bind as I was moving in 3 weeks (wasted 5 weeks waiting as per the agents advice), I accepted 3 students. They seem lovely, but I had the first repair- broken toilet. Ok, no problem but it requires further work. This was communicated via a monthly statement as a line item charge (£350 for a bit of silicone around the base). I had to call them (which took 3 days to get a hold of someone at another branch with an email reply the next day from the service manager). Turns out, toilet was knocked of the base and poured water all over the floor (damaging the lounge ceiling). Took them another month to get a quote to get some bolts to secure it to the floor. I got my builder to replace it and he couldn’t believe I was paying for it- he said it’s misuse- how do you knock a toilet off it’s base enough to separate it from the drain? Where was Winchester white? They had a video of the leak- why did they not investigate? I don’t want to be the bad guy, so I’m picking up the repair bill (toilet and ceiling), but it’s just incompetence. Maybe it’s my fault- one of the agents showing the flat remarked it’s really nice but students are going to destroy it. My wife was shocked and he quickly followed up with the deposit will fix it. That remark has haunted my wife, and it should have been a sign to just pull out. Winchester white- just avoid them if you’re a landlord or a tenant.

GoogleWe have had an exceptional experience with the team at Winchester White, in particular Louis who was professional, friendly and so helpful from our first phone call, to the viewing and contract signing. He kept us informed throughout the process and was always available to answer questions. The online process including verification and signing was also convenient and straightforward. Thanks also to Harry who helped with the offer and negotiation, we are so happy with our new flat However after the first 6 months the experience with Winchester has been poor with emails being ignored and information not being passed onto landlords. Hence the change in this review.
