My wife and I have been letting and managing our property for the last 8-9 years through WW exclusively. Over this time we have found their services almost without exception to be reliable, and timely. A special mention to Jake and his letting team in particular who really know the SW 19 market extremely well and as a result have not allowed our property to remain vacant at all. Moreover the background check of even the short let clients have been very strong and our property has been in good hands every time.

Becky and Jake helped us find a new rental home at short notice, sorting out all the paperwork and referencing in under a week (during a bank holiday week!). Becky was always responsive and on top of everything, even replying during out-of-office hours. If I could rate them 6 out of 5, I would!

Monika Rae is the most unkind, unempathetic, and inhumane person I have ever come across. We sought her help during the most stressful times in my life, where both me and my wife lost our jobs, and at the same time, my mother was diagnosed with cancer. We had to leave the property as we had no financial means to afford the rent. We requested her to not penalise us for early termination. However, she was not only rude and abrasive throughout our interactions, but she also attempted to charge us more than we owed. She was devoid of any compassion or sympathy, had no regard for our difficult situation, and seemed solely focused on extracting more money from us.Even my landlord expressed frustration with the agency and mentioned plans to switch to another. Winchester White is one of those letting agencies that will use any unscrupulous tactics to squeeze more money out of its customers. I strongly advise everyone to avoid them.
We deeply sympathise with the challenging circumstances you have been facing and were glad to assist by securing a replacement tenancy and allowing you to vacate the property earlier.In accordance with the terms of the tenancy, this required you to reimburse the landlord for the reasonable fees incurred due to ending the tenancy early. We understand this may not have been the outcome you were hoping for, but as these costs were borne by the landlord, they were unable to offer a termination without liability.However, in light of your situation, a gesture of goodwill was extended, allowing repayment of the funds owed by 8th July 2024. Unfortunately, that deadline was missed, and due to a lack of communication, we had no choice but to engage an external partner to pursue the outstanding amount.Despite this, the landlord honoured a reduction in the amount due.We are pleased that after careful consideration, you have fulfilled your obligations and completed the payment.We wish you all the best for the future and a swift recovery for your mother.Kind Regards,Winchester White

Additionally holding discussions with the landlord on our behalf and vouching for us as tenants, ultimately ending up with a rental property that we couldn’t be happier with.

The team at Winchester White were simply excellent. I was initially apprehensive because they were not based in my local area but in the event that did not raise any issues at all. They were incredibly pro-active and efficient right from the start. After a comprehensive first meeting with Elisabeth, where I was given a very professional pack setting out everything that I needed to know, I received a prompt follow up call and then, after securing my business, the team had within two days taken excellent pictures and listed my property on the main portals. I was receiving updates from the lettings negotiators every few days. I could see that the team was working very hard for me. I was particularly grateful for the speedy way in which all the necessary safety checks were completed before the tenants moved in, which I would never have had the time to arrange or oversee myself. After a week I had a strategy call with my Lettings manager to discuss progress and where she suggested we reduce the asking price, which I did slightly. After two weeks of listing Winchester White has secured a lovely couple for my flat. I would not hesitate to recommend Elisabeth and her team. You really are in good hands!

Although we contacted several estate agents for our search it was notable that Romana only showed us properties that genuinely matched what we were after rather than just showing us anything they had in hope that we liked it. She understood our non standard search criteria and applied them well. Then once we found somewhere and were in competition with someone else for the property she helped talk us through what an appropriate offer would be - then sold our offer to the landlord.
