GoogleMe and my husband purchased our first home from village properties after having been searching for about 6-7months. From the beginning they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the property, carefully showing us every single part of the property and the photos they had posted were extremely representative of the house which made me very pleasantly surprised. Throughout the whole process we received prompt updates on the status of our offer and the progress towards our purchase. It was really helpful because neither of us had purchased a home before and we didn't know what would happen. Really really lovely estate agency and that's coming from two people who viewed a very large number of properties and interacted with a lot of estate agents in the process. Massively recommend.

GoogleI can highly recommend the sales service provided by Village Properties. Sam Avery and her team are very professional and efficient. Sam has years of experience and understands the market very well. She is communicative, helpful and pleasant. She has a charming manner and is always cheerful. It’s clear that she has her clients’ best interests at heart. My sale went through smoothly and quickly as a result of Sam’s helpful attitude and attention to detail.

Sam is the most personable agent you'll find (and probably the most personable human you'll work with even outside the industry!). GoogleSam and her team at Village Properties in Barnes were very professional and helpful in every aspect of finding a tenant for our property. Our house is not in the Barnes area but one that Sam knows well and she was very discerning and thorough in finding a suitable tenant. She guided us through the in's and out's of letting and has a very good contact list for all the little jobs they needed doing. Sam adds a personal touch, she cares about people and their houses and she made it a very easy process for us.

GoogleSam, Anna and Jo are the ladies who run the show and they are the most helpful, kind and thoughtful trio ever to hit the real estate business! Being frank, I have never held Estate Agents in high regard, particularly in London. In fact, dealing with Estate Agents is one of the worst tasks we have to do as tenants. Generally speaking, London is littered with big companies seeking to turn a fast buck and are all too keen to get clients trapped in their snares. Once a contract is signed your name is seemingly forgotten and filed and you're no longer a human, the favour is weighted towards the benefit of their landlord clients and you're usually stuck between a hard place and a hard place!! At Village Properties THIS CERTAINLY ISN'T the case. From the moment you step into the office right up till the year after you signed on the dotted line and beyond, these ladies will remember who you are and even the name of your beagle! Walking or phoning the office has never been riddled with the usual apprehension I have always experienced having with other firms. Village Properties will ensure business is conducted in a stress free, friendly yet professional and effective manner and your best interests are always considered. They are a credit to their industry and we won't be using anyone else whilst we remain around the SW14 area. Cannot recommend Village Properties and their trustworthiness enough.

GoogleWe have been renting via Sam Avery & Village Properties since 1st March 2023. The whole rental process was painless and efficient. Whenever we have had any issue relating to maintenance; the problem was dealt with immediately. Sam and her staff are thoughtful and courteous. I highly recommend using them you wont be disappointed.

GoogleContrary to the other reviews, we had a pretty sour experience with them and hence left at the first opportunity! We let a property managed by them and found them to be pretty lax and unresponsive in resolving important issues. They also did not disclose problems with the heating across the house at the time of letting, which left us cold and inconvenienced in the winter months as it required major works to be done to fix!! And finally, they even slyly wanted to deduct money from our deposit, for not hanging some nylon curtains back (left by the previous tenant we did not use) when we left!! Alas, just another nice letting agency...
